The Bride came about as a bet between the Director and the Writer - that they can Write and Direct a horror movie (which they never did before) in under two weeks, shoot it for under $10,000, and still manage to sell it.
THE BRIDE's Budget was only $8,873 and ended up being sold both domestically and Internationally by Sony Pictures.
There was a joke on the set between cast and crew about the "The Curse of The Bride". As the director fell really ill and ended up being hospitalized, and few of the cast and crew ended up getting poison oak. The Movie sold but at a loss and forced Daciano Films to close and declare bankruptcy.
