Rahayu and her two children, Anissa and Aan, who moved to a village with a dark history. One day, Aan mysteriously disappeared after being kidnapped by a spirit. It turned out that Aan had been kidnapped by Wewe Gombel, a scary ghost who was once a woman named Marni. Marni used to be a beautiful herbal medicine seller, but her life took a tragic turn when she became a victim of rape which resulted in pregnancy. She and her newborn child were thrown out of the village by local residents. This incident prompted Marni to take revenge by becoming Wewe Gombel.
