The story is based on the diary of a young woman who, along with the director's grandmother, was deported from Budapest to Germany by the Nazis on November 28, 1944. After spending six months in the Ravensbrück and Penig death camps, she returned home at noon on May 27, 1945, and promptly began typing out the horrors she had experienced. "I found this manuscript among my grandmother's personal belongings in the family archive decades later," says the director. "In this documentary film, young people narrate the events described in the diary, individuals who have only indirect experiences and traumas related to the Holocaust,".
