Did you know
- TriviaAt the bar, when Goodie introduces Bill Bevilaqua as "a friend of ours", he is telling Dwight that Bevilaqua is a "Made Man", or a full fledged member of the Mafia. Bevilaqua then introduces Caputo in the same way.
- GoofsWhen Dwight explains the meaning of the surname 'Bevilaqua,' he says it translates to 'hot water.' However, this is incorrect. The accurate translation from Italian is 'drink water,' derived from 'bevi' (drink) and 'l'acqua' (the water). This small error in translation might go unnoticed by many, but for those familiar with Italian, it stands out.

Featured review
There's plenty of entertainment value in this "Tulsa King" episode, but series creator Sheridan's writers Terence Winter and Joseph Riccobene (both producers on the show) take the easy way out, opting for the predictable and the obvious.
There are three major story elements to be covered, and all are delivered flatly: Stallone's case in court, the two evil villains attempting to co-opt Sly's crew in order to take him down, and the transition from one leading lady to another. In each of these, less than optimum impact is delivered -almost ho-hum writing.
So the comedic elements of the Tulsa universe dominate this episode. Numerous subplots are all good for a laugh: the women in Sly's family asserting their power over him in stocking the new mansion with a chair he doesn't like; the brushoff of Villain Numero Uno by Dana Delaney in favor of heartthrob Sly; the sitcom humor of a pesky neighbor who tries to lord it over the General until he realizes he's dealing with a deadly guy. Even the issue of divorce settlement for Armand (Max Casella) is too pat, not believable.
Worst of all, the writing out of the show of DEA Agent Stacy (Andrea Savage) to make way for the advancement toward romance for horsewoman Dana Delany is poor, a kiss-off not respecting that character's importance previously. (Obviously not as bad as the forced removal of John Dutton in "Yellowstone".) A snippet of violence and centering of ruthless criminal action at the very end is merely a sop to the loyal viewership.
