I rated it 1 star, do I need to say more? The acting is cringe, the CGI is laughable and the Directing and filming is that of a high school level film project.
I don't know what's worse, the camera shaking effect or the phones that they are talking into are clearly obviously off lol
It's just so bad, I'm having difficulty explaining how bad it is.
The freaking ape doesn't even look nothing like Kong Kong for Christ's sake 🤣 He looks like Kong on crack and Fentanyl 😂
Actors, please quit acting. It is not for you.
Directors, please go back being a janitor at a boiler room office.
This whole crew must've been smoking so stuff the entire time on set.
How didn't anyone say "hey, this doesn't look very good. Maybe we shouldn't be making this." Smh
Get clean kids, say no to drugs.
This is your brain on drugs.

While I have indeed watched the 2023 movie "Ape vs. Mecha Ape" from The Asylum, I have to admit that I didn't harbor much of any grand expectations to this 2024 sequel, as the first movie was a lukewarm serving at best. Still, I opted to watch the movie, as I hadn't already seen it, and also because The Asylum does occasionally spew out something worthwhile.
The storyline in "Ape X Mecha Ape: New World Order" was pretty simplistic. It wasn't really profound script writing, but then again, would you expect such from a movie with a title such as this? Sure, the movie was watchable, especially if you enjoy corny sci-fi movies with huge creatures and mecha robots. So I guess there actually is an audience out there for a movie such as this.
Writer and director Marc Gottlieb returns to write and director "Ape X Mecha Ape: New World Order", just as he was also the driving force behind the first movie.
I actually wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. That is actually something I do enjoy when I sit down to watch a movie. And the acting performances in this movie were fair, taking into consideration the contents of the script and the type of movie that this is.
While I am a huge fan of Lovecraftian things, I just couldn't really get into the concept of introducing the alien creature that writer and director Marc Gottlieb opted to throw into the formula here, to spice up the contents and concept of the previous movie.
"Ape X Mecha Ape: New World Order" was not among the brightest of moments from The Asylum, but it was a watchable enough movie.
This is hardly a movie that I will return to watch a second time. Nor is it a movie that I would suggest you to rush out and get to watch. However, if you enjoyed the first movie, then you will also enjoy this sequel. And if you didn't enjoy the first movie, you will not enjoy this sequel either. Yeah, both movies are pretty much cut from the same cloth.
My rating of "Ape X Mecha Ape: New World Order" lands on a four out of ten stars.

Oh my god man, this movie is so bad, where to begin.
How did you get this movie financed man, did you black mail your friends or use your parents trust fund?
I've seen home made movies and film student projects that are better in both story and production value than this disaster of a film.
The acting is so bad, I cannot find the right words to describe how bad it was.
The directing, even worse.
The effects, I can do better effects on my iPhone and a $1.99 app, wow man, what are you smoking?
Please stop making garbage like this.
The world needs entertainment but this is not entertaining, its sad to watch, perhaps if you paid people $ to sit and watch, maybe someone would want the $2.50 you give them to sit through this thing.
Stop making movies. This is not your calling.

The Asylum, who clearly wanted to rip off Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, decided to write this huge cash grab that just included two apes teaming up to stop a ripoff Cthulhu character instead of a villain like the Skar King!!!
Adam WIngard would be mad if he saw this along with Ape Vs Monster. The monster in Ape Vs Monster is the Gila monster that the Ape defeated. The Asylum is no stranger to Schlock like this. I would compare this to Transmorphers and Sharknado rolled into one movie.
As is The Asylum tradition, they ripoff movies with the cheapest budget imaginable like they did with Transmorphers. They could have included the Gila Monster in this movie as well. Symptoms include Nausea, Vomiting, Rectal Leakage, Loss of faith in humanity, laughter, and rage.
In conclusion you shouldn't watch this movie even if you watched Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Adam Wingard would be mad after learning about these two movies.
