Sarah and Duck is lovely! The animation is wacky and colorful, the characters (especially Sarah) are well-mannered and kind, and the story telling is fun. The sound effects are fun and musical. As an adult I am usually left with a sense of wonderment after each episode (how many kids shows do you actually ENJOY watching every minute?!), and I LOVE being able to offer such a good quality show to my little ones. I particularly like the portrayal of everyday life in England, Sarah is always walking to and fro shops, spends a lot of time in the garden, rain is a frequent occurrence, and other little regular-life details. Sarah is intelligent and creative. I LOVE that she plays a tuba. And her little sidekick, Duck, is silly and cute, but not obnoxiously so. I love this adorable show, especially when compared to other popular UK kids shows with downright nasty characters...anyway...I just can't say enough good things about this show. Wish there was more good quality out there like Sarah and Duck for our children!

This has been my daughter's favorite show for three years now. It has been a calming presence in our house since before she could walk.

Fantastic stories all written in a magical way. Teaching simple lessons in a way for all toddlers to learn, without pushing opinions. I find myself watching as much as my child. The best part it's all spoken in whispers at one tone allowing babies to get sleepy before bedtime or naps.
You find yourself talking to onions, dancing with umbrellas and shopping with the moon! Not your standard kid Tv with bright colour and loud screaming cartoons this is a water colour wonder for all the family to enjoy! Great catchy music I find myself singing to at work.
You'll find the programme on BBC iPlayer and can stream two seasons with over 20 episodes to each.

Every individual note invokes incredibly powerful emotions, every cord strikes the soul with nostalgia. The animation itself is beautiful, the stories are simple yet charming, and the characters are easy to fall in love with (not in the LITERAL sense, most of them are children, after all).
My one singular critique is that it could do with a little more diversity in character designs. I can already here the MAGA mob getting ready to rip me to shreds, but they all fit the same basic mould, which I don't really like
Aside from that minute critique, absolute masterpiece and the most relaxing show in existence. Hands down.
