The worst film i have seen in a long time, totally unpleasant characters, awful script and bad acting, silly story which tails off into absurdity, the actors all look 10 years older than they are supposed to be, the most annoying thing are the long scenes of the cast just staring vacantly like dummies, the film takes place almost entirely in the house and garden, acting stupidly then talking about Marxism, as if any of these empty headed fools would understand anything apart from lazing around doing nothing except carrying on like 12 year olds, This is a definite 1 star movie, just really terrible.

Goodwin Island delivers an unforgettable cinematic experience, and the acting is truly remarkable. Each actor brings their character to life with such depth and intensity that I was completely immersed from start to finish. The emotional range displayed is nothing short of breathtaking, with subtle nuances in every performance that draw you deeper into the story. It's rare to see such authenticity on screen, and this cast absolutely nailed it. The chemistry between the actors felt so real, elevating the suspense and drama to another level. I can't recommend Goodwin Island enough - it's a masterclass in acting and a must-watch for any film lover!

What a fabulous film. Every shot is a masterpiece and the soundscape is glorious. The script is simple as it should be .. the way the story plays out and the dreadful inevitability of final destruction and the hope of salvation is all here. Beautiful setting and low-key expressive acting. I liked it a lot. Without wanting to be repetitive and to allow the full numbers of characters needed to fill this space - it's just a work of art and needs to be approached with an open mind. Ok so no nude scenes. No car chases. No in your face violence just a subtle reminder that our gods are watching us . Try it and see.
