Absolutely blown away by this movie! It exceeded all my expectations. The direction was top-notch, every actor delivered their best, even the supporting cast shone brilliantly. However, the marketing fell short; with better trailers and teasers, it could've garnered the attention it deserves. Movies like this are crucial, but sadly, in our society, they might not get the recognition they merit. Releasing it on OTT platforms like Netflix could attract a wider audience. While the background music needed more focus for an enhanced experience, the humor was fantastic. The storyline delicately handled a sensitive topic, showcasing sheer mastery.

After a while, I have seen a very neat movie that has a very clear objective. A serious issue in society is highlighted through a well-crafted piece of art. The movie engages you in a way that you do not pay attention to its long duration. All the characters seem natural and relevant. The sequence of scenes is connected so you do not feel stranded. The background music is strong and goes deep inside. The sad tribute to mob victims at the end shakes you. Apart from its serious topic, the humor created is well-aligned, making you smile. I personally like the dialogues. I wish people watch and appreciate Chikkar so we could see more mindful, purposeful, and meaningful movies in the future. Thanks.

Well the movie is based on a case solving mystery of a murder case.....in start it was slow and creating a plot but after interval it took its pace and got really interesting....this is based on story of hundreds of untold stories of dead ppl whose criminals are not being arrested or punished ..... Usman Mukhtiar performance was the best 👌 rest actors and actresses also played there roles well but Usman was really the best in dialogue delivery, expressions and the humor.
This movie should be watched as its a Pakistani movie, and its based on the issue which is not highlighted regarding the honour killing and respecting others and not being judgemental.

"Chikkar" fearlessly delves into the realms of civil service, police, and political elites. Director and Producer Zaheeruddin masterfully navigates these complexities, presenting a compelling narrative with outstanding performances. Undoubtedly, Zaheeruddin, in his producer role, takes a commendable leap, investing in a socially relevant project that breaks free from formulaic storytelling. A definite must-see. Usman Mukhtar, Usna Shah, Nausheen Shah, Saleem Mairaj, Ali Shaikh, and Noman Waheed, especially in his role as SHO Jamal Bhatti, deliver outstanding performances in the film. The entire cast contributes to the excellence of the production with their compelling and memorable portrayals.

Diving into the intricate realms of a crime thriller, this movie stands out not just for its gripping narrative but also for its poignant exploration of a sensitive social issue. The script and direction exhibit sheer brilliance, orchestrating a symphony that allows the cast to shine brilliantly. What pleasantly surprised me was the sprinkling of humor, masterfully interspersed to offer reprieves from the intense drama. This film isn't just a cinematic endeavour; it's a transformative breath of fresh air for Pakistani cinema. One can only hope it serves as a beacon, inspiring more such impactful creations in the future. A must-watch for aficionados of quality storytelling.

After so long a good story line came to cinema. Although it is a movie which is tackling some very heavy and serious topics.it is commendable when a movie is handling such serious issues like Chikkarh did. As it is covering a very serious issue of feminine oppression and involvement of powerful people in it. Its really crucial to handle such sensitive topics with sensitivity and respect. All actors have done a remarkable effort with their characters. The tinch of humour is balancing the bitterness of the truth. Everything is awesome including cinematography, selection of actors and music. Indeed writer manages to strike that balance effectively. A great movie and indeed worth of watching and spending money. A huge round of applause to the director and writer Mr Zaheer Uddin Ahmed 👏🏼

The movie is not worth the watch it's very boring with stupid storyline and below average acting.
Seems more like a sitcom rather than a movie.
Ushna shah does overacting as always and doesn't belong to the film industry . She's like Ananya pandey with just looks better no acting talent
Usman mukhtar is a mediocre actor at best while nausheen was clueless as to what she was doing in the movie
She only has few repeated lines and nothing else.she didn't do justice with her role and gave an expressionless acting .
Pakistan really needs to start concentrate on good storyline movies with better actors
No wonder why people don't waste their hard earned money on these rubbish movies.

This is the story of systems, institutions and individuals. Their inefficiency, reasons and limitations. A story of manipulation of those in darkness by the so called illuminated. Story of a crime to shine and whats holding back the asian developing societies.
This story reminds the audience of the societal frustration and alongwith it gives the motivation to keep moving but not towards the ditch. It also gives hope, voice and the message of tolerance with which we can prosper.
Script and story is amazing, all the characters were given equal chance to prove themselves and adequate screentime.
Cinematography is raw giving it more of a realistic feel. Its a thriller with very little suspense giving it more of a natural feel. Actors did justice with their assigned characters.
After a long time I am pleased to watch a genuine story across all cinemas and OTTs.
The theme of direction was like back to the basics, with natural viewing angles and not a lot camera or angle movements.
Worth the watch.

This is a thought-provoking film that explores the hidden aspects of society and brings attention to its darkest elements. It effectively reveals the difficult truths and struggles that individuals face, while also providing a critical analysis of our shared existence. The gripping plot and strong performances make it a powerful reminder of the complexities and imperfections within our society. The movie is not only captivating and well-acted, but it also has great sense of humor.
This movie is not for people looking for a simple and light-hearted romantic comedy. It explores deeper and more complex themes that may not appeal to those seeking pure entertainment.

"Chakkar" is a reflection of the evil in our society in which any person, group or sect gathers mobs by accusing any innocent man or woman for their personal, political or religious interest. They instigate in such a way that they kill the man or woman without any thought without the crowd. Even if someone is arrested for this brutality, they are released due to political influence and no one gets any special punishment.
The writer/director/producer of "Chakkar", Syed Zaheeruddin Ahmed has portrayed this grim face of our society very well. You will also feel bad for the interval time during this movie and you will be bored till the end of the movie. They will sit there without getting up from their place. This movie makes you cry and also makes you laugh spontaneously.
Zaheeruddin was expected to deliver such a masterpiece, which he has delivered beyond expectations and proved his mastery.
You yourself visit the cinema to watch "Chakkar" and tell everyone you know about it.
Thanks.

The cast, led by the incredibly talented Usman Mukhtar as SSP Sarmad Zaman, Faryal Mehmood as Neelam Shehzadi, has delivered a powerful and emotive performance through her eyes that leaves a lasting impact. Nouman Waheed as the sweetest SHO Jamal Bhatti, Saleem Mairaj as a simple yet honest journalist, and Aliee Sheikh as the 'Savage Sardar,' all contribute to the movie's success with their remarkable acting skills. I am Ateeb Isphahani, a filmmaker, and I usually don't watch Pakistani films. However, I had to watch CHIKKAR because of some reason and I was blown away. Zaheer Uddin Sir has truly created Netflix-worthy material. If this level of quality is maintained in Pakistani cinema, it could give Indian cinema a competition. I understand the competition is tough, but this kind of quality could revive Pakistani cinema.
The dark theme of this film will take you on a different journey, one that you wouldn't expect from Pakistani films. And you're going to love some of the characters in this film. Your 1000 rupee ticket is going to be worth it, plus, grab some complimentary popcorn and enjoy in peace. This is a deal of benefits, my friends.
As for the film itself, I suggest cinema lovers to experience it on the big screen to truly understand its impact. Don't rely on other reviews, just go watch it yourself.
