My rating is based solely off of how much I enjoyed watching this with my kids. I've seen most of the phenomenal anime in my time. From AOT, to Demon Slayer, to the OGs from the 80s.
Sure, this little show couldn't even load their bags into their private Jets. However, as a parent I loved it. It can get a little tough to find actually decent anime to watch with your smaller kids. That's pretty good, while still being age appropriate, that isn't littered with fan service. Maybe even a little funny.
This show accomplished that and more. The kids are cute and OP. The lead protagonist has some likable traits and takes to his new role of big brother, parental figure exceptionally.
I like that he has a nice warm personality, and even works to teach the kids manners. He's helping me do my job as well. I'm always driving home being strong and having good manners to my girls.
We laugh at all of the funny things the kids do and they're genuinely enjoying it. My girls are busy bodies, but when this was on, they actually sat and enjoyed it.
My daughter was actually disappointed when the lady episode ended. So we look forward to newest one on the 26th.
I have seen all the greats and some absolutely ridiculous anime too. This belongs somewhere in the C tier. I think it lands firmly in the middle and shows promise.
