I thought this was an agreeable show. I never read much Archie but I can still get what it's going for.
It doesn't take itself too seriously and delightfully subverts the wholesomeness of Archie comics using a mockingly melodramatic tone but it's never meant to be anything but comedy. The scenarios of each episode are really cool, the girls are sexy and I never found anything objectionable in it.

I saw one episode years ago, and I did not laugh once. This show just reminds me of any other cartoon that tries to be edgy and shocking just for the sake of it, and it just doesn't land for me.
I've seen worse shows, but this one just wasn't worth it for me. BUT you might have a better time so watch at your own risk.

"High School USA" is one of the most inappropriate cartoons I've ever seen...and I've seen a lot! This is a version of high school if EVERYONE was 100% stupid, 100% inappropriate and looked 98% like an "Archie" comic! It's the sort of stuff you really should NOT let kids watch, as the school gives nothing but god-awful advice that you should never follow. A few examples include when the school decides to give guns to EVERYONE, when all the kids are sexting and the show seems to suggest the best thing is to take photos of your genitals and send it to EVERYONE and guys CAN, apparently, breast feed! The bottom line is that the show is bad...really bad. But it's also so very funny because it's so bad! There's a part deep within my soul that really makes me laugh because you know you shouldn't be laughing! Well written, insane and nothing like anything normals should be watching.

One of the funniest, most inappropriate animated shows I ever seen. Years after seeing the show, I still think about it. From the classic feeling theme song to the juxtaposition on the shows attitude and themes, this is a must watch. I wish it was able to have more than one season, but when you get an episode banned when trying to get established, it's hard to stay on the air. I feel if it premiered on Adult Swim instead of Fox, it would still be on today. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of adult animated shows because this show is a rare gem.

High School USA is an awful adult parody of Archie with shallow characters. I only gave this 2 stars because it has good character designs and art, which is more than you can say for most adult cartoons in the 2010s, and because it made me laugh a bunch of times in it. The first thing I thought when I saw the end credits was "Oh my gosh, how did they get Zosia Mamet, Mandy Moore and TJ Miller into this? They deserve better!" I am sure Hekapoo's voice actor, Zosia Mamet, would say that this show is a heck of poo. The only characters in High School USA that I like are Amber and her little brother, Sam. Coincidentally, Amber is the one with Hekapoo's voice actress.
I don't like High School USA because - even though it is a comedy and we should not take anything it says seriously, it still teaches harmful messages like - Bullies should be accepted as much as gay people should be accepted, there are no issues with sending dick pics when everyone does it, pregnant teens should question abortion, no one should get a sex change to be a woman because of the sexism they would face, only cool students get guns, and many more - not to be confused with Mandy Moore! Many of its jokes, like the so-called Chinese Fire Drill from Adoption, are so bad and so dangerously stupid, they are like playing with matches in a room full of dynamite.
