After a long time, watched a good Bengali horror series which have engaging plot... Some scary scenes will shake you in fear if you watch it alone in the night.. The best part is thriller elements has been mixed very smartly with this horror series... Some subplots although has been put intentionally, but works for the character like Kanchan Mullick..... Seeing him as a serious police officer like this made me fall for the character Inspector Gopal Halui.

Camera work is superb and feels like a national level work. Talking about the bgm the theme music of Petni is awesome.. the melancholy female tune gives goosebumps........ Editing is good.

There are many people behind the scenes of any series or movie but their hard work is lost behind the acting or story in front. In this series, the crew in BTS has outdone everyone.

The series can only be watched for Padmanabha Dasgupta's script, BGM and VFX. Although the story and screenplay of Padmanabh are good, the dialogue writing is not at all like Padmanabha. Although the story line is good, the search for the killer is explained within the script.

VFX work in most Bengali movies or series is very poor quality but with a small budget this series has done good VFX work.

However, in terms of acting, the acting is quite loud in several places.
