Jeff Koons: A Private Portrait! I made it on the last day of the show in theatres. I couldn't miss it. Jeff Koons is one of the most inspiring and recognized artists of our time. I've been following his artworks for some time now. The balloon animals, the minimal classic sculpture and paintings variations. I must say I am impressed. As a hip hop fan, I deeply enjoyed his collaboration in the 4:44 tour with Jay Z. The movie itself, cinematography wise, could be better. It does however atick to the meaning of the title. It explains a lot about his personal life and endeavours away from art. He finally does explain some inspiration for some of his works and also displays some of his very first pieces. For cinema and art fanatics, it is a must see.
