This film certainly had its moments. There were a few clever bits that made me laugh, but on the whole, I found it difficult to connect with. The humor leaned heavily into the silly and exaggerated, which I imagine might appeal to some, but I found it lacked the sophistication or subtlety I tend to enjoy.
That being said, the characters had a certain charm that kept the story afloat. Their relatability was enough to maintain my interest, and the plot, while predictable, had a warmth that I appreciated. It's light and easy entertainment, though it didn't feel particularly memorable.
For me, the humor simply didn't resonate. I suppose it's a matter of taste-it's clear the film has its audience, and I can see its appeal for those who enjoy a more playful, carefree style of comedy. It's not a bad film by any means, just one that didn't quite align with my
preferences.
If you're looking for something lighthearted and cheerful, it's worth a watch. As for myself, while I didn't dislike it, I doubt I'd be inclined to revisit it.
