"The Chosen One" shows two days from the life of a former child star. Almost 20 years ago, when he was nine, he became famous for acting in a major sci-fi blockbuster. After the media attention and problems at school became too much for him, he quit acting. Today, he is trying to redefine himself. However, hate comments, fans who recognize him in public, journalists and constant comparisons with his colleague Natasha make life difficult. And still hovering over everything is his controlling mother, who always had high expectations of him.
