This charming, amusing series is an absolute delight to watch!
Great cast across the board. Superb acting skills from the lead pair, who, besides having chemistry also beautifully play off each other with perfect comic timing and otherwise display a great range as actors. I find myself laughing out loud several times while watching. I also in particular enjoy the nanny and lead character's "doctor" friend from the supporting cast.
Overall, an outstanding quality production and engaging series with a clever script and humorous misunderstandings which add to the comic effect. Excellent in every way.

I enjoyed watching this drama. The plot was interesting, the scenery and costumes beautiful and the leading couple charming. I only wish that the leading man were more manly and not so cute (he was cuter than the leading lady). Perhaps the drama aimed to reverse the stereotypical roles presenting two willful ladies and two cute guys. I also wish there were more sparkle between the leading couple, the kind that you see in young couples in love, adjusted for that era.
That being said, it's worth watching it, if you enjoy period dramas that combine romance, action, and comedy, good acting and good looking actors and actresses.

This drama presents an interesting story with several strong actors and great chemistry among the main leads. There are dramatic, comic, and romantic scenes - overall really well blended and balanced creating a surprisingly natural feeling for a period-piece.
Considering the quality of this series and the actors, I am surprised to see these actors are not even all listed yet on IMDB and those who are listed are missing photos and up-to-date information about their latest work. Don't let this mislead you. The drama is definitely one to watch.
Please note - there are no fantasy or supernatural elements - no wuxia or xianxia.

I found the premise intriguing and was curious to see where it was headed. Both the lead actors were new to me, and I found their acting wonderful - both in serious and comedic effects. In fact, all the actors did great. I also enjoyed the action/fight scenes, esp. In the last episode when they were wearing white - you'll see what I mean when you witness it.
I loved that the FL stayed a strong character throughout, despite the constraints of the times she lived in. And who she needed was someone who could respect that. The other outstanding character for me was the Empress who escaped her constraints, grew a backbone, and became the person she was meant to be, Her character growth was the most impressive to me.
Overall, this was an outstanding series, with political intrigue, action, comedy, romance.

OMG, "Are You The One?" is hands down THE BEST costume drama I've ever watched! Zhang Wanyi as Cui Jiu (Wangye) completely stole my heart. He's not your typical cold and aloof prince, he's the king of tantrums and absolutely hilarious. His constant nagging had me laughing non-stop, especially with poor Moru getting yelled at all the time. On the other hand, Wang Churan as Miantang is the perfect balance, strong, smart, and such a boss. Her chemistry with Wangye is EVERYTHING. Their fights? Literally the cutest version of flirting while arguing.
The pacing is so satisfying! It starts a bit slow, but once you hit episode 20, it's like the drama levels up to a whole new level of awesomeness. It's packed with funny moments, emotional depth, and just enough romance to keep you hooked. Even though the kissing scenes are minimal, the connection between the leads is undeniable and so heartwarming.
I've already rewatched this three times, and I'm still not over it. The ending left me with a huge smile and a desperate wish for season 2.
