I seriously want to ask the producers, writers and directors of this series: "did you know what you were making a series dor a streaming service or did you think you were making a cable series?"
Because tbe only series that i think represents the gold standard for an animated series made for a streaming service is "Archer". The series that made it to over 10 seasons.
The original TDI is closer to "Archer" than this series. Characters get pretty good arcs, we get some mature jokes and themes, characters actually shows some skin and variety to clothes or curves.
I look at TDI 2023 and I am thinking: did you know that were made for a streaming service or the Disney Channel?
If just feels like the unnecessarily made this series lazily instead if taking advantage of the streaming service and making a more R rated version or something.
