One of the Mercedes' designers flew in from Germany and lived with the crew for six weeks to make sure the truck endured the shoot.
John Madoc's car is a 6-wheel, double-axle Mercedes that's popular with sheikhs in Arab countries. It costs around $600,000 and was flown into the United States specially for the film.
Filmed in Farmington, New Mexico and surrounding areas like Shiprock on the Navajo Reservation.
