Nancy Hower (Co-Creator/ Director) admitted in an interview that because of the completely improvised script of the show, she will keep a camera focused on John Lehr (Sheriff Hoyle) at all times during a scene. This allows her to capture all of Johns performance as he has a tendency to move around a lot.
