The PAntry

Few weeks ago I watched this short film and was really impressed, because the movie has very good cinematography and acting. Moreover the aspect I liked the most was that the movie keeps you in suspense from start to the very end.

I watched a lot of short horror movies and this movie is one of my favourite ones because it's unique by the style of director and by the quality of the independent movie with a really small budget.

I wish that talented filmmakers and actors, who are working on the good movies like this would have more budget and would be seen more by the companies and audience.

It really deserves your attention.

I often watch short movies and I liked this one particularly because it has great shots and sets a nice mood with lighting.

It has a good tension to it that keeps you captivated from quite early on until the end.

Also the actress is doing a very good job. Even though it's only her in the movie, she's really convincing and doing very well in the role of the lonely panicking woman alone.

I like that even though it's a short movie, it doesn't drag the images too long like it usually happens in short movies, but has a very good rhythm to it.

It has good sound editing and silence in the moments needed.

Not original, not impressive.

But correct, using same theme of single woman in apartment in night, bizarre noises and inofensive presumed source, well crafted tension and a profound useful blue mask , blue balls.

The atmosphere is the main purpose of director and it is created with high care for each detail.

Cinematography serves , in honest manner, the intentions. And the end, maybe it is the basic good point of film , offering to viewer, in beautiful way, the task of answer.

In short, old theme, good use of it . And fair performance for the states of victim who makes what she seems be right in the tough situation.

This short film is a testament to the power of suspense and psychological horror, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre. With its tight 7-minute runtime, The PAntry delivers a compact yet intense experience, blending eerie visuals and an unsettling atmosphere to create a sense of constant unease.

Given the quality of The PAntry, it would be exciting to see Ervis Zika take on a feature-length project with a larger cast and more extensive storyline. His skill in creating tension and atmosphere suggests great potential for future works that could explore more complex themes and characters. I look forward to seeing what Zika brings to the director's chair in his next endeavour.
