Featured review
Five executives at a company argue about whether they should buy a computer and what it would do for their company.
It's more than sixty years since this industrial film was made, and every business doesn't just have a computer, it has dozens, from smartphones in the hands of its employees to servers in the cloud. It may seem absurd that these men could not see what is so obvious to us, but prediction is hard when it's not your specialty.... and often wildly wrong when it is.
There are some good actors performing their roles here, men who had once been stars, like Chester Morris, and Mason Adams narrating, as he so often did in industrial films. Worth a look for them, and perhaps to instill a little humility into people who think they know all the answers.
