One for all, all for one. That is the motto in the tranquil town of Heiterstorf, just outside Hamburg. In order to be accepted again in his hometown, which Gabriel Panski once arrogantly left behind, the family man runs the gauntlet. After a depressing, blackout-filled evening of drinking at the rowing club, the heart of Heiterstorf, he is suddenly the "man of the hour".
