Lesbian Seductions 77

I was ready to count this edition of Girlfriends' reliable "Seductions" series a classic, except for a terrific vignette suddenly ruined half-way through. It's an unforgivable case of the label no longer interested in quality control.

Inspired casting pairs TIffany Watson and Jackie Hoff, latter my favorite new starlet on the scene, and Tiff's slow, measured but relentless seduction is fabulous. Jackie is introduced on Tiff's bed, rifling through the blonde beauty's underthings, but caught in the act by Watson. Tiff chastises her with the sexiest of voices and is soon fondling Jackie, who is perfectly styled as a shy, plain-Jane type, who never removes her glasses throughout the nearly hour-long segment.

Jackie is guilty of idolizing her roommate, even dressing identically to her, as we learn when Tiff insists she strip down to her flowered bra ad panties. Hoff cannot object when Tiff begins making love to her, lingering while sucking on Hoff's huge natural breasts, when suddenly we hear the director shouting out to Tiff to change positions and interacting with Watson emphatically as to how the scene will develop on Tiff's bed and where Jackie should be located. This 30-second interruption destroys the mood and fantasy of lesbian sex we've been watching and is foolishly left in the final print, and soon after the camera very sloppily moves in closer so jerkily that the actresses almost out of frame, also left in. Such poor editing is unforgiveable.

The other scenes are more routine. Newcomer Skye Mae needs some acting training, as she is one-note in the set-up scene, haranguing Aubree Valentine who arrives at her home to see her sister Sarah (never shown) and is seduced by meanie Skye instead. Add to that Mae's ugly tattoos and result is poor sex filler.

Far better is a battle of big-breasts, unfortunately both clad in torn jeans and basically costumes that look like they were in a hurry and shot in whatever they felt like wearing for the ride to the studio. August Skye is the voluptuous black girl who dominates the scene, as nostalgic talk of what a wonderful time they had together in college is the subject of her seduction of Ella Reese, latter styled as a blonde instead of her usual brunette persona. They watch some movie on tv, but no attempt is made to suggest what they're watching, just an excuse to have sensual sex together.

Remaining scene is dumb, with two petite girls, Hime Marie and Mina Luxx paired as Hime teaches her friend how to lap dance and sort of "dance" in place for what passes as a stripteaase nowadays (now memories of Tempest Storm or Virginia Bell to be suggested here). They make love on a couch in an utterly boring XXX scene.

The series used to contain "Older/Younger" in its title, but that surefire casting gimmick has been abandoned here, with each segment having actresses who appear to be about the same age. It's a painful reminder of Girlfriends' drift away from involving stories and characters in recent years, bowing to the audience's preference for all-sex entertainment.
