Garbage for idiots.

How is this rated 7.2? The only thing real about this show is that it's real stupid. They have found the perfect mix of fake and boring. If you think this show is real or even enjoyed it for 30 seconds, you're a moron. America is doomed.

Another poorly written reality show

Unfortunately this show is like so many other reality shows where the producers treat the viewers as if we were as dumb as them. This show has some interesting spots but the episode where they were stranded forty miles from home was just a joke. Supposedly it was to take them three days of walking to get home and they have to live off the land. Eugene just happens to carry a mortal/pestal with him but yet has no lighter or matches for a fire?

They happen to come across a backwoods house where an old lady lives. She is glad to share her food with them and they sit down to eat since they haven't in two days. You would think their family's would be worried sick about them and the guys would want to contact them as soon as they can. But nooo... Although they are sitting with the old lady and eating, she mentions how their wives are probably worried about them. They said how they need to get back as soon as possible...THEN WHY NOT PICK UP THE PHONE THAT IS RIGHT BEHIND YOUR HEAD AND CALL THEM !!! And is anyone worried about the cameraman that is with them? He was probably eating steak and lobster. Completely phony. And for southerners, how come neither has a southern draw at all?

Hillbilly Blood plot

Daffy, you're so right! I just finished watching S1 E6 and logged on this sight to see if there were any reviews and your review says almost word for word what I was going to say. I didn't notice the phone but as I was watching that scene I thought to myself "why don't they use her phone - surely she wouldn't live that far from civilization without having a phone. Also, from the very beginning of the episode, when 2 dogs truck wouldn't start I was thinking how did the cameraman know his truck wouldn't start? I gave them a pass on that because, I guess they could have just wanted to shoot them driving away. It's obvious they have more than 1 cameraman because they shoot several angles/distances and so forth. And, why aren't they (cameramen) having the same trouble getting across the swamp? The 2 guys they have "staring" (for lack of a better word) are believable, by and large but it's obvious to me that everything is staged. Peace... RT
