Spectacular Earth

I've given this show a 7 because the videography is great.

But the so-called "star" - this Kwame guy - completely spoils it. He should never be allowed near a microphone.

He has to be the most irritating narrator I've ever heard. He can't put more than 2 or 3 words together at a time, without ridiculous pauses in between.

Is it an English language thing? If so, then sorry, but get off the stage! A great series like this deserves a good narrator, and Kwame just doesn't measure up.

Now that I've got that rant out of my system, I can relax a little and talk about the great cinematography in this series. It really is good, and almost makes up for the atrocious narration. Yes, there's the usual, somewhat tropish (is that a word?) dragging out of each episode so that you don't get to see what you really came for until the very end. But if you're patient enough to go the distance, the finale at the end is probably worth it.
