Onset of curse from Ancient Rome triggered by a present-day occurrence. Old premise that's been done better many times; rarely worse. Between the exhaustive amount of exposition required to tell the unwitting carrier (and audience) what's looming, and the buckets of stage blood emanating mostly from ritual sacrificees (if that wasn't a word, it should be, if only for cheesy flicks like this), there wasn't much left in the budget for plot coherence or character development. The cast is essentially an assemblage of every stock type from every horror shlockfest of the past 50 years.
Those seeking titillation will find the flesh factor in short supply, and the gory bits too random for visceral impact.
