As of January 2020, it's unclear who owns this show.
Tara Strong is the only cast member from the original show, Xiaolin Showdown (2003), to reprise her role (as Omi) in the show's English dub. Speaking of the show's original French version, Annouck Hautbois and Boris Rehlinger are the only cast members from the original show's European French dub to reprise their roles (as Kimiko Tohomiko and Chase Young, respectively). Other notable cast members of the said dub are Stéphanie Lafforgue (Omi), Pascal Nowak (Raimundo Pedrosa), Yann Peira (Clay Bailey), Sébastien Desjours (Jack Spicer), Laurence Crouzet (Wuya), Patrick Floersheim (Master Fung) and Med Hondo (Dojo Kanojo Cho).
Speaking of the show's English dub, some elements of the original show had to be changed due to copyright problems.
Despite good ratings, the show didn't continue with the planned second season.
This show is a second foreign animated adaptation of a property by Cartoon Network. The first one was Powerpuff Girls Z (2006). While the former is a co-operation between the original show's creator Christy Hui and a French animation studio, the latter was produced entirely in Japan without involvement from Craig McCracken, who created The Powerpuff Girls (1998).
