When Gaal and Hari are standing in front of the wall that is a door, they are both facing it and Gaal is holding the staff. Gaal puts down the staff to try to open the door. After she triggers the door, they are both briefly shown facing it and Gaal is again holding the staff. The door is then shown opening and then it cuts back to them, and Gaal isn't holding the staff.
