Featured review
1. It is a liberal vs conservative thinking kind of movie, which is never really sell well in Malaysia. Malaysian love high-octane action and horror movies.
2. So, the film maker must know this, and they make this movie for the sake of to share their own thinking to Malaysian. Not to make money.
3. And yeah this movie bombed in the cinema, so people only notice after its release on Netflix, and the critics start to come, whether they hate or love it.
4. This movie have a lot of hollywood influence, things that does not exist in Malaysia. Town cop? Gun? Woke culture term? They maybe exist in the city but in the humble village? No. But it is fiction anyway, so its still looks creative and fun.
5. The storyline is good but movie critics keep talking about Tok Hassan but they forget about Ustaz Fauzi.
6. Even though I don't really agree with this film's attention. The production is top notch, acting is great, cinematography is awesome and I love it.
7. Maybe any person who hates this kind of film need to make a film that fight this idea. Malaysia is a peaceful country. You can always make movies.
8. From malaysian standard , this is for adult only. Every old man & old "makcik" in my village will critic this. Or their busy with their paddy field and farm.
