Nice aerial views and that's pretty much where all great things with this film ends. I am not a harsh critic and I say this because I like Hallmark romance films and we know they don't ever get to heavy or deep enough to make you have to think or cry or anything else with that matter, but this particular movie was horrible and every way. I don't know if the actors were bad or if the directing was just bad. All I know it was a really bad movie with bad acting, and probably the usual storyline, but not a good way to execute it. Yeah, I didn't think there was anything that could be worse than a maverick film.

Painful to watch the acting from the women especially was horrible. Who's direct this. Do you see them rolling their eyes and looking so odd at one another. Odd hesitation before they talk - high school plays are better. I actually laughed at some points. The mother is so giddy even after fainting. Is this their first rodeos ? Most movies you can see where they are going with story lines but this is the most boring movie. Fast forward or skip all together No smooth transition from one scene to the next. The delivery scene was laughable I started wondering if this was suppose to be silly. Hahaha. And the dr sitting there waiting to catch literally he had is hands up like someone was hiking the ball to him. I can't believe this is actually a movie. I could act better than them.

Very poor acting and storyline! It hardly had anything to do with the man being a fireman! I don't know how it was even made. I had skipped over it a few times and I shouldn't have went back to watch it! I love watching Christmas movies but I wouldn't call the movie one. Making me write a long review about how horrible this was. Please don't make another movie like this! I really had a hard time getting through it! I don't know who these actors were in it , but they need some more training! I don't like to be this harsh about a movie but it didn't go anywhere with story line. So poorly done!!!!

This is the worst movie I've ever seen. Narrowly beating out the last movie he made that previously held that spot. Watched them because they're set locally. Not trying to be unnecessarily cruel, but it's true. They're not cheesy Hallmark bad, they're also just really poorly made, like a school project. They're terribly written and acted, and not made with any quality control. To be fair, the main actor did the best he could with the material. Every scene and conversation lasts about 10 minutes too long. The lighting and coloring is terrible and inconsistent. Continiuty issues when switching from tight to wide shots. The sound is not captured well or mixed well. While walking around the same small town 1 block radius at one point there's randomly a b-roll of a 3 story mall, huh? I'm not really sure the point of writing films like these. It is consistent with the last film he released, writing these flat women who need a man (that they JUST met days ago!) to actually make their lives have meaning. But somehow this one was worse. At least we didn't see the sound equipment in this one!
The Fireman For Christmas was like watching a car accident. You want to look away but just couldn't. The acting was super terrible. The plot was decent. From the get go the acting was super bad. The only actor that was good was the actor that played Trevor, but given all the other actor's terrible acting his acting didn't shine. They didn't have chemistry in their performances, seemed l like they barely knew their lines, and the performances were poor. Warning if you're reading this before watching the movie skip this movie or you'll be stuck watching this like car accident. Trying to look away, but you just can't. The movie never gets any better.

To pick nits here on your title, last time I met a Fireman he was shoveling coal into the firebox of a steam locomotive. Never once did he find a need to fight said fire he created, though he did tend the fire and made sure he attended to the water level in the boiler so there were no unexpected explosions.
On the other hand I served 32 years with Baltimore City as a Fire Fighter. We responded to fire alarms and extinguished any fires we found and we provided other emergency services as needed.
I'm sure other Fire Fighters would appreciate the proper title as we do not start fires we fight them for your safety.. Dave Marconi.
