I was not fortunate with this trash

What a trash, what a garbage trash for me who just watched other historical series during the last weeks: GASTON PHEBUS, JACQUOU LE CROQUANT, gems from the sixties and seventies. Gritty, gloomy, brutal stories also destined in those times to prime time audiences, but far far better. It is even indecent to dare comparing. Here, everyting is smooth, is lousy, the perfect garbage sh....for sissies. The audiences have changed since the glorious sixties and seventies. I prefer forgetting this junk.... Poor Nicholas Duvauchelle who is like John Wayne in Gengis Kahn for THE CONQUEROR. Please, keep away from it. The same story made for TV in the sixties or seventies would have been totally different and far far better. The dialogues would have been different, even the haircuts....
