The trailer for this movie spoils more of it than this review will, so if you haven't seen the trailer yet, don't. This is a low budget sci-fi tale of one guy in his escape pod, trying to figure out how he got there and what to do next. His lone companion is the pod's somewhat useless and sarcastic AI computer. Within minutes I realized there wasn't much of a budget, but I gave it a chance and soon I found myself invested in this fellow and his dilemma. Although the scenery doesn't change much, and the obvious use of CGI takes you out of the moment, the story was still interesting in itself. It was a good balance - the movie's shorter run time means my curiosity was satisfied sooner. Once they drug out the green screen though, things got kind of cheesy, but I was cheering for this fellow nonetheless. It was a good time.
