Love scenes are difficult to film, but for a veteran like Jennifer Aniston, it’s no big deal especially when she’s sharing the screen with Jon Hamm. Known for Friends and We’re the Millers, the star was recently nominated for outstanding lead actress at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

There have been a few instances where actors simply do not get along. David Schwimmer, who portrayed the character of Ross Geller in Friends, had a similar experience.

Although no one’s at fault here, really, Schwimmer did not get along with one actor from the American sitcom. The actor caused a lot of retakes by messing up the scenes and David Schwimmer really hated that.
The One With David Schwimmer’s Co-star
Ross Geller had been portrayed in the show as a really nice guy who wouldn’t hurt a fly if it was in his way. Contrary to the character, David Schwimmer had plenty of opinions and remarks about things in life.

Jennifer Aniston got pranked by her costars in the 2013 film We’re The Millers after they played the theme song of Friends while the cameras were rolling. The actress, known for portraying Rachel Green in the famed sitcom, seems to recall her memories of the show upon hearing the iconic song.

For someone who worked in a television series for ten years, it would be challenging to separate herself from her onscreen character, at least for the audience who watched and followed her through the years.

The Bear is one of those rare stories that comes along once in a blue moon. It doesn't get by on flashy CG, explosions, or modded-out race cars flying down the streets.
Witty dialogue, high stress, and intense drama fuel this machine, and perhaps that's why so many big-name actors are attracted to its frenzied undercurrents.
Kudos to the creative team assembled under the banner of The Bear. They've created a fantastic ride, thrumming with intensity and entertainment without needing to spend a fortune.
They're clearly doing something right. Series creator Christopher Storer (bolstered by incredible writers like Joanna Calo) nails the pace and character beats while accomplishing a rare feat within the industry, perfecting the art of the cameo appearance.
Cameos are often tricky for several reasons. They tend to disrupt the immersive nature of the story. As a prime example, everyone is still trying to forget Ed Sheeran...

1968's "Planet of the Apes" is one of the most legendary sci-fi movies in cinematic history. Co-written by Rod Serling of "The Twilight Zone" fame and directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, it spawned a franchise that is still going strong to this day.
It all started, however, with the story of astronauts landing on a mysterious planet filled with intelligent apes, only to discover that they were actually on Earth in the distant future. Led by Charlton Heston, the film boasted an incredible cast — not to mention some legendary practical makeup effects that helped bring the apes to life. Unfortunately, when a film is more than 50 years old, not many people from the cast are going to be around any longer. Luckily, a couple of key cast members are indeed still here to help keep the legacy alive.

One of the biggest box office surprises in 2013 was the comedy film "We're the Millers," which featured Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts, and Will Poulter as a ragtag group of amateur drug smugglers posing as a family in the hopes of bringing home a massive payday. The road trip comedy was a huge financial success and is considered by many to be one of the very best films of Sudeikis' career. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story"), the film also features a knock-out supporting cast including Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn, Ed Helms, Molly Quinn, Luis Guzman, Thomas Lennon, Ken Marino, Tomer Sisley, Matthew Willig, and the feature film debut of Sam Richardson.

We’re the Millers fans aren’t likely to find out what happened to David, Rose, Kenny, and Casey because a sequel isn’t in the cards.
The 2013 comedy left fans with a cliffhanger. “The Millers” ended up in witness protection, living in the suburbs, running a marijuana side hustle. Questions were left unanswered like: Did David and Rose really end up together? And what role do Kenny and Casey play in the faux family?
We’re the Millers 2 ‘is probably not gonna happen’
Actor Will Poulter who played Kenny Miller said that he doesn’t think a sequel will ever happen. “I don’t think so, but I got a lot of love for Jennifer [Aniston] and Jason [Sudeikis] and Rawson [Marshall Thurber], our director. I would happily work with any of them again, but I think We’re Still the Millers is probably not gonna happen,” he told US Weekly in 2022.

J.B. Smoove was a rather late addition to the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" cast. He joined the show in its sixth season in 2007, by which time it was already a well-established hit with copious Emmy nominations. When he went in for his audition, Smoove had to make an impression, and he did it in a way that is probably not advisable outside a controlled improv setting.
The threat of physical violence — specifically, a slap to creator and star Larry David's face in a comedy context — is what landed Smoove his role as Leon Black opposite David's fictionalized self on "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Smoove related the story of his audition in an oral history of the show via The Hollywood Reporter, where he said:

Exclusive: Hope springs eternal, at least Raising Hope does.
The Emmy-nominated Greg Garcia-created sitcom that ran on Fox from 2010-14 will be back for one night this weekend in a virtual reunion to benefit the A Is For charity.
Hosted by Ashley Nicole Black, the March 13 get-together (link here) will see Garcia joined by cast members Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt, Lucas Neff, Shannon Woodward and Baylie & Rylie Cregut.
There won’t be a script reading, as many reunions have done over the past year. What there will be, I’m told, is some very up-close and personal recollections of the four seasons that Raising Hope ran. Some unfiltered responses to digital submitted audience questions are also on offer too.
The reunion is free, but a $20 donation is necessary if you want to ask questions of the participants. “I’m excited to get into some real behind-the-scenes stuff,” Plimpton told Deadline of the gathering.

Television legend Cloris Leachman, who died Tuesday at the age of 94, earned the last of her whopping 22 Emmy nominations for her role as the larger-than-life Maw Maw on Greg Garcia’s 2010 family comedy Raising Hope.

Written by Earl, Welcome To Maine centers on a…...

Mission: Impossible, Avengers, Dwayne Johnson, Jurassic World, Ant-Man and more are lining up to meet you next summer. Oh, and The Statham.
With summer blockbuster season 2017 in full swing, and with Fast & Furious 8 speeding over the $1bn mark already, a bunch of filmmakers are furiously putting together their films for release this time next year (or thereabouts). Here, as things stand, is the state of summer blockbuster season 2018. We’ve veered towards UK release dates on the whole, but as always, things can quickly change.
Also, we’ve not included unnamed films: Universal, for instance, has reserved a slot for one of its classic monster universe movies, but not told anybody what it is yet. As more information pops up, we’ll keep this list up to date…

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Tuesday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best show currently on TV?” can be found at the end of this post.)
This week’s question: Who has been the best guest star on a scripted show?
Tim Surette (@timsurette), TV.com
Wayne Brady showing up in body armor and riding a horse on Syfy’s post-apocalyptic disaster disaster “Aftermath” needs to be mentioned somewhere in this critics’ roundup, so here it is. But I’ll point out two from intentional comedies that come to mind. Timothy Olyphant’s short run on “The Grinder” as himself was fantastic and if I didn’t mention this my coworker Kaitlin would kill me. But my pick goes to David Duchovny, also as himself, on “The Larry Sanders Show.” We’d largely known Duchovny for...

2017-01-02T10:49:30-08:00'Will & Grace' Revival Apparently a Go
Actor Leslie Jordan, who co-starred in NBC's Will & Grace, said in a recent interview that the network has finalized a deal to produce 10 new episodes of the series. The news has not been confirmed by NBC, the show's producers, or any of its principal stars. Earlier rumors, however, had suggested that a revival was in the works.
The early-2000s sitcom gained some buzz just before the presidential election when a short, election-themed reunion scene was filmed and went viral online. After the positive reaction, the show's producers were reportedly pushing the idea of a revival, and the series' stars, including Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally all seemed to be open to the idea.
Jordan told radio station Kpbs that NBC has ordered 10 episodes of a series revival and intends to air it beginning in the fall 2017 season.
