1st if u have watched the Korean Intimate STRANGRES movie, then you won't like the movie that much, but the humour and the timing of it was very good tbh.

It's a exact copy nonetheless. But all the characters were kind of good and they all played there roles very well. From start to finish you feel that humour build up and the flow of it, AKKI Bhai did a brilliant job as in his role as he has done it in the past, The PUNJABI COUPLE was spot on from the start and it was really well played by PANNU & VIRK , the FARDEEN KHAN character was kind of fishy & interesting but was also left a bit in -complete, meanwhile the director kept the viewers busy and intrigued, the laughter's were there and some loud one as well, this Hindi adaptation is a very well job done.

I went into Khel Khel Mein with zero expectations, especially since it didn't do well at the box office. But after watching it on Netflix, I was pleasantly surprised! This movie is solid entertainment from start to finish, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fardeen Khan's comeback after so many years was a big surprise-he did a really good job. All the cast had their moments, but Akshay Kumar totally stole the show! His comic timing was perfect, and he really brought the film to life.

The story was engaging and kept me hooked, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the songs could've been better. They were just okay, nothing special. Still, that didn't take away from the overall fun experience of the film.

It's been a long time since I've seen such a truly great comedy film. Right from the start, I can confidently say it's one of the best Bollywood comedies I've watched in years. The characters, dialogues, acting-everything that makes a film exceptional-was perfectly executed.

Despite a star-studded cast, I initially worried that some actors might not get enough screen time or their characters might be sidelined. However, each character was given the right amount of focus, and their contributions were significant. Every role added a unique spice and intrigue, keeping the film engaging without one character overshadowing another. Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal all delivered outstanding, memorable performances.

Before watching the movie, I saw the trailer and wasn't sure if the film would live up to it. But I was pleasantly surprised-the trailer only scratched the surface of the comedy. From beginning to end, the film was hilarious, delivering great punchlines, and even the occasional emotional scenes didn't stray from its primary goal to make the audience laugh.

As a comedy, it falls flat, delivering hardly any laughs. The jokes are juvenile, and the humor is almost non-existent. The plot is painfully predictable-if I asked ChatGPT to write a script based on the trailer, it would likely produce something just as unoriginal and unfunny.

Akshay Kumar and Ammy Virk manage to squeeze out a few laughs in the 2+ hour runtime, but the rest of the cast seems lost. They fail to grasp the comedic tone, playing their roles without any real flair. Fardeen Khan, in particular, is out of his depth, exposing his limited acting range and feeling out of place throughout the film.

The movie also suffers from a lack of internal consistency. For example, Fardeen Khan's character is supposedly a School PT teacher, yet he shows up to a wedding in Jaipur driving an open Jeep Wrangler. It's details like this that further disconnect the audience from the story.

In the end, this film fails to deliver on any front, leaving viewers questioning what it was even trying to achieve.

Finally something sensible and well made movie. The best part about the movie was the moment there was a drop in excitement. Something else comes up and makes it more interesting it's not just one closed room drama. Continue was good casting was perfect. In the storyline made sense interconnections and changing times all presented very well. It reminded me of some previous movies like table number 11 and Chitkabrey. Notl connections were low, but this movie is about to pick up again. It's in Number but for sure going to be big on OTT. Me so one time we met can be seen again with a different friends anytime.

First things first. According to Wikipedia, this is the TWENTY-FOURTH international remake of the Italian Perfetti sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers) - comfortably securing that film's status as the most remade one in history.

This fact is even more remarkable when considering that the Italian original is not some Mussolini-era relic, but a 2016 production - meaning that so far, it saw an average of 3 remakes every single year since release, even if all were in different countries. (And surprisingly, the USA has NOT yet been one of those.) To make things even MORE fun, India apparently already saw THREE films before this one which didn't fully remake Perfetti sconosciuti, but nevertheless had taken enough from it to be considered similar/outright rip-offs (Loudspeaker, 1001 Nunakal (Lies) and 12th Man, if you are counting.)

And yet, the XKCD comic about millions of people being born->coming of age->entering the internet every day without knowing what "everyone" before them thought was common knowledge is true. I had no knowledge of either the Italian original or all the other remakes it had until well after seeing the international screening of this film. Outside of this context, I would say it's a fairly good, perhaps even slightly underrated film. For one thing, the first and best song of the film, Hauli Hauli, is a banger, and I don't think either the original or the other direct remakes of it have anything which matches that.

Admittedly, the opening rather drags as everyone is en route to their relative's/friend's wedding and their conversations are mostly set-up that'll take a while to pay off. Once everyone is finally seated, though, the film both offers competent pacing and good performances and more importantly, it is a lot more mature than you might expect from the premise.

Now, I don't know how much of that maturity might be "borrowed" from the original (the way Speak No Evil remake had obviously taken it caustic mockery of modern status preconceptions from the original) and what had been invented by the screenwriters from scratch, but either way, it works and (to this outsider, at least) seems organic to modern Indian context rather than crudely grafted onto it.

And unlike too many other dramedies like it, the ending feels like the right combination of bittersweet, with the proper acknowledgement of how everyone had been changed by the experience. In all, a pretty good effort.

A Spanish movie Perfect Strangers has been remade in multiple languages, and now comes another remake in Hindi. With zero expectations, Stree 2 released on same day and already knowing the story, I skipped this one in theaters. Having watched it now, I can say I made the right choice.

A group of close friends meets for a wedding and decides to play a game: they must surrender their mobile phones, unlocked, on the table for the night. Any messages, emails, or calls they receive must be read out loud, revealing a Pandora's box of everyone's secrets.

The novelty of the story is lost, as it's such a well-known premise. What remains is the execution. Credit to the makers for attempting to Indianize the content and make it more relatable, but there are many loopholes that can't be overlooked. Strangely, in this version, everyone seems to have an extramarital affair, and the makers couldn't think of any other secret to make things interesting.

Akshay Kumar leads this ensemble cast. He fits the role and delivers a convincing performance. Amusingly, the filmmakers keep reminding us that Akshay is playing his age, offering random justifications to ensure no one questions it. Vaani Kapoor, as his wife, is decent. Taapsee Pannu gets the most interesting character, and she delivers for the most part. Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal are strictly okay, while Fardeen Khan struggles the most, barely managing to perform, reminding us that a famous surname can help revive a career.

The songs are below average and only add to the runtime. The climax is highly clichéd and underwhelming. The group of supposed friends lacks chemistry, making it hard to connect with them. Visually, the film is appealing with its gloss and glamour. The movie touches on important themes like sexual acceptance, but that's as far as it goes. In the end, it feels like the Hindi saying "Raat gayi, baat gayi" - no one seems to care about what transpired by the time the film ends.

Overall, it's a below-average movie with a beautiful cast and good production design. There are a few funny dialogues to make you chuckle, and since it's on OTT with a short runtime, it can be watched on a lazy afternoon.

THE OLD AKSHAY IS BACK.

This feels very similar to TOILET:Ek Prem Katha, Padman where the film ends on a good moral for the society. This film had the potential for entering the 100cr club but didn't do so because of all the flop lineup of akshay kumar.

It feels like the old akshay Kumar because of his humour, comic timings and the cameos. Didn't have much expections for this, but this is one of the best films he has done in the last 2 years. The first 30 minutes feel a bit slow but then it gets intresting as time moves on and everyone's secrets get revealed. Comedy could have been better but still it's a enjoyable film.

It is an official remake of a 2016 Italian movie called Perfect Strangers, a movie never released in India or available on streaming and one that has been remade more than 25 times across the globe. However the online trend of hate towards remakes in Bollywood and Akshay Kumar prejudges and ignores the quality of movies.....talk about judging a book by its cover.

Akshay Kumar shows several glimpses of his brilliant comic timing of his earlier years and does an overall great job in the movie. Vaani Kapoor looks and acts her part. Fardeen Khan gives a pretty decent, emotional and honest performance. His dialog delivery has improved a lot from his earlier years but still has some hints of what is misperceived as wooden and amateurish because of his accent. Ammy Virk and Taapsee Panu are hilarious as the 2 Harpreets and land some of the funniest lines of the movie. Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal also do a decent job in their respect roles. The actors are well cast and do a pretty good job.

The story has been well adapted for India with witty dialogs and good direction. It is also fun to spot the celebrities who voice the phone calls that the characters receive in the movie. The movie is fast paced but the songs are a distraction from the fun and were not really needed. The second half of the movie is not as interesting and fun as the first half but still pretty engaging and watchable. Khel Khel Mein is a funny and entertaining movie that is worth enjoying with the family. 7/10.

Washing dirty linens of three elite class couple and one single man in a fancy Jaipur Palace and the whistleblower is none but their mobile phones .. Is all about KKM. It evokes laughter here and there but it fells flat after sometime. Akshay is good at comedy as usual but he seems bored even doing so. Tapsee, Vaani and Pragya shows glamour, Fardeen, Aditya are just adequate. Ammy Virk is better than other two. No other characters are worth mentioning. Interesting script gone astray. Faacination for Happy (harpreet) and fat weddings continues for Mudassar Azeez (director) in this movie too.

Last One Word : A Timepass.

This movie is about seven close friends who went together to attend a wedding. While they were chatting and having fun,decided to play a game. The rule was all the phones of seven friends will be unlocked and put on a table and any calls received will be on speaker or messages received will be read out loud. Everyone decided to start the game. And this game turned into a roller coaster of emotions as slowly and gradually many secrets started popping out. Game that started for fun changed everything so fast. The details of the game and what happens in the game can only be known by watching the movie. A very interesting game to watch throughout the movie.

This movie is full of comedy and emotion. A good entertaining movie.

Great movie and great script! You won't be bored! Concept is new! You will not regret watching this movie and Akshay in 'Harami' avatar is totally fantastic..The movie contains emotions and commedy with a very good message. Every scenes of the film are well connected and each scenes make you laugh like hell. Fardeen acting was hilarious. It's good for couple and also for singles so it make you cautious about marriages. Tapsee Pannu is another level in acting and she did her job really well. Full Paisa vasool! The movies contains 70 percent comedy, 20 percent emotions and 10 percent social message. You should go and watch the movie.

Movie starts with a slow start but after 5-10 min the story starts to grip in. It seems that director wants to plot a lot of incidences to describe all the characters which he successfull do and in just 15 min we are in the main plot of movie.

I didn't like this part, As director could have showed us his skill and make it more longer to describe the deapth of character. But It worked fine.

Acting of each actor were to the point nothing cringe nothing big show. Good thing was Akshay Kumar was awesome in the character.

Music : I skipped. Bgm were on point.

And... There's nothing more about this movie.

Conclusion : It's a fun movie, One time watch.

Only just because of Fardeen Khan I went to watch this film. I really enjoyed with my family. It was so interesting movie. Some part was too much funny especially the Fardeen Khan and the Paji's part was so much funny. One thing I didn't feel good that Fardeen was given a gay role!! In my opinion if Ashkay sir was given the gay role it would be more suitable 😅😅. Anyway I love the movie. Those who has depression anxiety plus go watch you'll enjoy and after watching this film you'll be happy happy for whole day.

This movie literally makes no sense its just one dimensional bad characters that are bad just for the sake of it no complex characters no redemption just weird gross and bad people that makes the movie straight up hard to watch, the director also for some reason has an agenda against Punjabis, every time the Punjabi characters talk in Punjabi the "tuntuntuntun" music starts playing and its a running gag in the movie that they always say English words in the weirdest ways which is then questioned by the more "educated Indians" in the movie and everyone laughs at them.

They are also portrayed to be the poorest out of the friend group which I would have no problem normally but along with these other things just make it unbearable for me to stand as a Punjabi myself because it shows an agenda instead of a harmless plot coincidence.

Apart from this I will try to be as unbiased as I can be in reviewing the movie as a whole. I think taking akshay kumar's character can be a good example of what to expect from this movie, he is a guy who messes around with women while having a wife and a daughter(from his first, now dead wife), in the movie he gets caught many times by his wife but weasels his way out everytime and then the next minute he will say something so liberal and agreeable that you will be left confused whether to support him or not, normally this would be the right thing to have a good and bad character that has his own issues if the writers and director knew where they were going but I would assume they gave up trying to make sense mid way and picked up a homeless guy, loaded him up with hardcore drugs and shut him in a room to write the remaining script because there is literally no reason for the characters to act the way they are acting theyre just doing it because they felt like it akshay gets sad and puppy eyed at his wife for wanting a divorce while 5 minutes ago he was trying to weasel out of what seems to be him being caught sleeping with an escort on a business trip but oh no his character is still a good guy. I wish everyone reading my review ignores it completely and goes to watch it themselves so we can have more people to share the burden of having this movie ingrained in our memory.

May not be right to call this a romcom since it starts off as a fun movie which gets serious in the second half. It is an Indianised version of an Italian movie of 2016. Three couples and their single friend get together at a hotel to celebrate a family wedding function. On an impulse they decide to play a game where their cell phones are kept on the table and all calls and messages are heard and seen by all. Needless to add that a number of secrets are exposed causing embarrassment to all. Skeletons tumble out of cupboards and the partners are shocked and furious as the cheating gets exposed.

No doubt director Mudassar Aziz has a novel script with great potential for keeping the audience hooked to the narrative and it happens this way too. However some of the comedy is not exactly amusing. The action takes place overnight just as it happened in the case of " Aattam" which I saw recently. With seven characters available there are quite a few situations of interactions between any two of them resulting in no monotony in the plot. It's all about revelations, suspicions and fears in the fragile relationship called marriage. Also about forgiveness and closure. The dialogue remains sparkling and relevant to the situation and the acting is also fairly decent. The brisk editing helps to keep the flow smooth. Leading the pack of three actors, three actresses and almost coordinating / firefighting / advising all the time Akshay Kumar seems to have done a fine job. The behavior/ reactions of all characters are believable and may be it is the strength of the movie.

This movie is a copy of Perfect Strangers but it is not upto the mark. It falls short in most of the aspects. The acting part is the major setback of this movie. Wish they had taken some good actors for this movie.

The songs are also ok ok. Lots of useless scenes too.

One should surely watch perfect strangers. That movie is so beautifully made, the whole team has performed so well in that movie in comparison with this Hindi version. Akshay Kumar should go back to acting classes. The actresses except tapsee are just show pieces. Direction is also very loose.

The whole team should learn film making first.
