Directed by Sugan Jay a long-time assistant of Balaji Mohan this 8 episode series stars Vaibhav, Ramya Pandian, Chutti Aravind, Kaloori Vinoth, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and so many others.
Story: A illiterate and gullible farmer gets his hands to a marijuana plant and unaware of its true self he brands it as a herb and sells it causing his life to become a haywire.
Positives:
Technically sound. Apt music and good camera work
Comedies work in a few places.
Superb performances from the lead actors.
Vinodhini, badava gopi, vaibhav are really good
Negatives:
Weak screenplay. The stroy wasn't much and shd have had a max runtime of 2hrs only.
Forced comedy situations
No excitement at all.
Ramya Pandian's artificial performance
Verdict: Accidental farmer and co is a decent attempt that fell short due to bad planning and poor screenplay. It could have been so much better.
