- A pubescent girl struggles with coming into adulthood disregarded by friends, relatives and most of all, her parents. How can she learn to cope with the challenges of life in a world devoid of guidance?
- Parents is an experimental drama centered around a young girl who tries to find her self amid the chaos and confusion of a modern world. In their public life, her parents portray the typical "happy" suburban family, but when at home, the atmosphere immediately changes back to the real: a truly cantankerous relationship.
Each day, she comes home from school emotionally torn from being bullied and humiliated by her peers while her parents remain ignorant. The girl yearns to adapt to her newfound maturity and thus experiments with her mother's makeup and lingerie. Her mother eventually discovers and lashes out, still viewing her as a little girl. As the girl desparately seeks guidance, her parents become more caught up in their own life issues and fail to respond to or even realize hers.
The parents split apart which leaves the girl and the mother to settle their differences but to no effect. Time passes and the girl drifts closer and closer to the edge but without anyone there to prevent her fall.
