At lunchtime on April 24, 1975, a group of German terrorists take hostages at the West German embassy in Stockholm. Police arrive, reporters flock to the area and embassy personnel run for their lives to get away from the occupied workplace. What actually happens from the time the alarm goes off until the first TV images are recorded?

The first hostage is suddenly executed, and the drama and fear increase. What do the terrorists want? Who are they? Soon it also turns out that they have the help of someone or a few inside Stockholm's city and the worries spread.

Just before midnight, a bomb detonates inside the embassy. And the journalist Bo Holmström's makes his classic scream - to what he thinks is only his producers. When he screams: "Lägg ut!, Lägg ut!.

Reports are coming in that the terrorists got out of the burning embassy and one of them is said to be running around and shooting. But Which rumors is true?

When the fire in the embassy is extinguished, the extent of the damage is clear. And now the Swedish government is faced with the next dilemma - what to do with the captured terrorists? And do they still have helpers left in Stockholm?

What was the background to the embassy drama? In the planning, Swedes within the National Association for the Humanization of Correctional Services (KRUM) were used to spy. Immediately afterwards, members of the Baader-Meinhof network also appeared at a KRUM-arranged meeting and trumpeted the terrorist group's message. We hear a unique recording from this meeting.

Operation Leo was a plan to kidnap the former Swedish Minister for Immigration, Anna-Greta Leijon, in 1977. The plan was devised by the second generation of the German Red Army Faction. Leijon was not a member of the Government at the time and because of this the operation might just be fiction.

Norbert Kröcher was a German terrorist and member of J2M. He was also strongly associated with the second generation of the Red Army Faction. He is considered to be the head of Operation Leo which allegedly aimed to kidnap the former Swedish Minister of Immigration, Anna Greta Leijon. The operation was uncovered before it became reality.
