This short is all about beauty of simple every-day acts. Nothing special happened to Marco but his life has changed anyway. This short isn't magnificent. This short is simple yet realistic and meaningful and that's why it's enjoyable.
Its freshness is the basic good points. and the inspired presence of Ben Getz. a party, a storm, an accident. and the meeting changing so many. a kiss. and, at the first sigh, nothing more, special, interesting. but that is the best thing about this short film. its simplicity. admirable simplicity. translating, in smart, delicate and precise manner, emotions. and happenings . and meets . so, a real nice film.

Just love it! This short is simple and beaultiful to watch, and that is what makes it so relatable and enjoyable. The script, setting and characters are common and easy to understand, to the point of making you feel like you are part of the story or even that it could happen to you. I could watch it over and over again without getting tired of it. It reminds me of other series, like Friends, which also had a simple and fun script, which is why it was so captivating. Also, despite being a small production, the good quality of the actors' performances and the photography of the scenery are noticeable. It is delicate and kind. I would definitely love to see more of Grotto.
