The film faced problems releasing. The producer Mr.Vohra was having problems with the NFDC. Since he was a NRI producer, they were not allowing him to release the film in India.

The opening two words "Mohabbat Inayat" in the song "Mohabbat Inanayat Karam Dekhte Hain" from Bahaar Aane Tak, sounds similar to the words "Abhi Main Abhi Main " from the song "Abhi Main Mohabbat Ki Rahon Mein" from Cricketer (1983).
