Never seen a film from Republika Srpska before (the Serbian part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), and seeing this there was no surprise - it seems to be tailored for the local audience, with language and jokes that may be difficult to translate due to the different meanings of similar-sounding words. The film seems to have followed the same formula as a successful TV show of the same name. While there is some effective humour, it may be lost in translation, and the overacting is reminiscent of sketches from SNL. The story of feuding female neighbors and their husbands' appreciation for the lady next door, along with the children's affection, is quite loose. The production appears to be low-budget, with some humorous moments, but the sound recording and editing are bellow acceptable standard, while the cinematography appears washed out. Not a promising start for me!
