Professional tennis player Aaron Faust has a John McEnroe-like meltdown during an exhibition match that gets him thrown off the tour and sentenced to anger management.
Aaron finds himself in anger management, where he laments that he has "a bit of a temper" on the court. But he meets an intriguing woman there who introduces him to a mysterious tennis league that just might be the answer to his problems.
At a remote warehouse, Aaron meets Dwayne, an intense and charismatic tennis zealot who is also "star-struck" by Aaron and immediately tries to recruit him for an underground tennis league called Gentlemen's Fury.
Having nothing more to lose, Aaron goes to a Gentlemen's Fury party where he is initiated into the club. The next day, Dwayne takes Aaron on a particularly rigorous training "hike" leading him to already have second thoughts about joining.
Aaron plays in his first Gentlemen's Fury match, where he soon learns that the league takes significant liberties with the rules of tennis, essentially turning it into a contact sport.
Dwayne and the Gentlemen's Fury gang take Aaron on a mysterious and dangerous mission to test the commitment of their new prospect, dragging him deeper into this cult-like club and further away from tennis.
Overwhelmed by the unexpectedly violent turn that Gentlemen's Fury has taken, Aaron quits the league. But Dwayne makes sure that leaving his cult isn't so easy.
Aaron enlists fellow Gentlemen's Fury defectors Fabricio and Rudy Nudeo to help him rescue the kidnapped Julie, leading to a final showdown with Dwayne. Season finale.
