The show's format is sort of a quasi-documentary. It involves a fictional, scripted, office environment (the How Stuff Works offices in Atlanta presumably), and footage of Josh and Chuck recording their podcast Stuff You Should Know. In the first episode a character affected by the extremely rare 'Alien Hand Syndrome' shows up; this is used as a vehicle to discuss various issues about this syndrome and other rare and unusual brain disorders.
If you're a fan of the podcast, you will certainly love this show. Josh and Chuck have a peculiar charisma that translates well from audio to this TV format.
The show is smart; a refreshing change from most TV; even most "science" and "discovery" TV. They've got some clever hidden jokes in here too. If you're either well read or a good student of the podcast you will likely have a few laugh-out-loud moments.
