What a finely written, terrifically crafted, technically outstanding short film 'Local Commercial' truly is. The acting is superb, and the directing spot on. Satire is so enormously difficult to pull off, but this film does it masterfully. And funny? I laughed until I cried. Rich and Did Dobbs and Richard Walsh put their enormous writing talents to perfect use here. Cinematically, it's appealing and shot with great care.
The cast they assembled is first rate. Frank Converse is just outstanding, and Didi Dobbs and Richard Walsh are impeccable. Even the music is so well done, catchy and fitting. Mark Graham, who is a director by trade, should consider a full time acting career.
I highly recommend 'Local Commercial'.
