The first two episodes of the TV series (which is the same as the OVA series) were pre-aired on the Family Gekijou cable and satellite channel on 6th and 7th of April, 2012. The rest of the episodes was aired on MBS & TBS beginning April 7, 2013.
The series will be sold in the same theaters that show the Yamato movies on the same days, i.e. a simultaneous release.
