A rare movie concept that Malaysian productions dare to carry. An interesting story line and the concept of the nation's maritime forces willing to sacrifice for the country, this story plot should be appreciated.
The beginning of the story is interesting and can capture the interest of the audience for the next plot.
The emotion of each character is also good. The role of side characters really helps this story run smoothly
However, the cinematography can be improved. Too many scenes at night or when it's dark. It's logical if you don't see anything at that moment but as viewers, we need to see clearly what's happening in every scene. The production side needs to be sensitive about lighting for the satisfaction of the audience.

Since PASKAL, who somehow become the trend setter for this kind of movie, a handful of military movie have come out to the cinema. Its good compared to tons of horror and romance movies that does not really works anymore. Malaysian rarely make a military movies so there is a lot to explore in this genre. Another thing this coast guard production need to learn is how to make a good trailer, they know how to make a good movie but not its trailer. After I watch the trailer, totally not interested at all to watch because looks like low budget military movies. But, after some reviewer inform how good and radical this movie is, yeah, I give it a try and its totally worth watching. New gen in malaysian cinema, keep coming guys. Al fatihah to the director.
