A new street drug called NATAS unleashes a zombie apocalypse that spreads like wildfire and mutates its users into flesh eaters. With nothing left but a beat-up Camaro and trunk full of guns & booze, Hunter (Martin Copping) spends his day running down the flesh eaters for sport and redemption from his tortured past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, led by an ax-wielding priest named JesÃºs (Danny Trejo), Hunter is seduced into escorting the eclectic group (strippers, rednecks, and in innocent beauty) to a mythical place of refuge. Under constant assault from zombies and a chain-saw wielding psychotic clown, a surprise attack by a new breed of giant mutant flesh eaters forces them to abandon their quest, and put Hunter's skills to the test.

Goofs
Early in the movie, Hunter stops to gas up. While checking inside the gas station, he encounters several zombies. He is armed with a double barrel shot gun. The first time he fires, we hear the sound of an empty shell hitting the ground. A double barrel shotgun does not automatically eject empty shells. He then deals with several zombies in a back room. He shoots several times, and after each shot, we hear the distinctive sound of a pump shotgun.

Praying for Danny

Don't rent this if you're expecting this to be a Danny Trejo (leading) movie. He's only playing second fiddle (maybe not even that, if you count all the beautiful women being portrayed in this) to our main lead. And our main lead is not nearly as charismatic as Danny is. It's a shame because with a better lead and some of the action set pieces this would have been a lot more fun to watch.

As it is, it's a nice try, but has too many clichés ruining the story and the very limited character definitions we get. While the group mentality thing is almost working for it, there are too many slacking and there might be a bit of frustration setting in with the viewer.
