Tell us about your project. What language will it be in?
Oont is an adaptation of a story by Bharat Sasne. It revolves around the journey of four men extremely different from each other, from their obscure village, and their stories and struggles along the way. A child from their village writes to the Chief Minister, asking for a replacement for the village’s sole source of enjoyment and happiness, everyone’s beloved, the deceased camel – Anarkali. The Chief Minister responds with promises, sensing an electoral advantage, and the four protagonists are assigned the job of bringing home the replacement.
