Featured review
This episode had a strong potential to be cringy (Simpsons & contemporary youtube pop culture), but for the most part it was quite enjoyable. There are some good jokes and casting - I especially liked the podcast segment by Lenny and Carl. The plot needed more development, however, even if it was intended to be very surface level, which is a shame since the concept is initially catchy. The main story follows the "rise and fall of the Simpson family", which seems to miss the mark a bit when it comes to youtube culture. Why not focus in on one or two characters? I think a Bart-centered episode would have worked much better here. In sum, although some parts of this episode are wanting, the hook is enough to make this a moderately enjoyable watch.
