The show is close to perfect, the star cast and acting from each character is just 10/10.
The show is on SONY ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION and like always, SONY has come up with different story line.
You might find the story line slow for initial episodes bht trust me it has no mellow drama like other daily soaps.
Aditi ved sharma is superb like always!!
Before she worked in SILSILA and ANGREJ movie, both the times her performance was tremendous.
I hope Katha and Vian get closer with the time.
Ehsan is a side character but really don't know what would be his in coming episodes.
Love Katha Ankahee!!

Over the years, Indian television has become nothing more than a mindless money generating business where creativity and storytelling have been pushed back.
This show comes like a breath of fresh air. The actors are so talented that even when they do not have any dialogues, they continue to emote the characters feeling through their eyes. It's rare to see such well rounded actors share the screen on itv. Aditi's portrayal of the plight of a single mother is inspiring and heartwarming. Adnan does a fantastic job at making the viewers understand each and every layer of guilt and pain in Viaan. While the chemistry between Aditi and Adnan is the cherry on the cake, the supporting cast leaves no stone unturned in making a mark. Azinkhya is fantastic as a child actor.
The musical score is fresh and soft, not overbearing like in typical Indian serials. The pacing is not too slow and not too fast. Every aspect of the story gets a balanced amount of screen time. There are no flashy and overt reactions displayed whatsoever. Everything is natural and flows beautifully.
If you are still deciding whether or not to give this show a chance, please go watch it right now. You'll definitely love it. Such shows deserve much more support in India and I'd love to see this show reach greater heights.

I've watched the real story as well... and this show somehow justifies it. So I really like this show... The concept is somehow relatable. The characters are plain yet complicated which gives a different dimension. The actors are doing an excellent job as well.
This is not "too dramatic" like any other Ekta Kapoor serial.
This has a nice plot, good characters, amazing music which sets the mood accordingly.so overall it is good.
After a long time I am watching good quality Indian series. Characters have played their roll very well. Heart touching scenes and dialogs.
So far this series do not have unnecessary drama or dialogs which makes it interesting to watch. Crisp and to the point

Katha Singh (Aditi Sharma) character is very pleasing. Story line capitulating and sober.
Generally, I don't watch hindi TV serials as they are social drama and family fighting. However, the role and character of Katha (Architect) is up-lifting.
Viaan has difficult role to play and he is doing the best.
The conversation between Katha and her son (Aarav) has caught my attention and so, I decided to watch it.
The dialogue and story line have high moral and sometimes touches to spirituality.
Aditi Sharma is single handedly carry this serial and showing difficulties of single mother and balancing career with family.

The story, the acting of everyone especially the leads Adnan Khan and Aditi Devsharma is top-notch. They bring a different flavor in every scene they perform. The bgm has a very Turkish vibe to it... The cinematography, locations everything is very close to reality. The dialogue writers also has done an awesome job. There is no 5 panno ka bhasan, only real dialogue which general people use daily basis. Sony tv should be appreciated for bringing such a bold concept to itv and doing justice to it...
Every character has its own backstory and nobody is totally positive or negative.. Like normal people the characters are also grey-shaded which gives a different touch to the whole show.

Love is as simple as the feeling you get when you drink a cup of chai that happens to have just the right amount of sugar in it. This translated line from the show is enough to describe how beautifully it portrays bonds in its story. Everything flows poetically. There is not evil vamp who is pushing the female lead off of a building. There are no cheesy flashes and crazy background music when a character says something shocking. This show is absolutely beautiful and cannot be missed.
This show portrays rectification, grief, different forms of love, second chances, and gray characters. It truly is a breath of fresh air. All the actors have done splendidly.
We tend to complain but how illogical and cheesy Indian television is yet those are the same shows that get the highest TRPs. Please give your time and attention to shows like Katha Ankahee so that we can change the future of this industry in a way where we can get more and more shows of this sort.

I don't know where to begin honestly. Katha Ankahee is just a perfect show. The cast is amazing. Each actor/actress plays their part the best they can and you can really feel that as the story goes on.
The background music gives me goosebumps every time. When a serious scene is happening, the background music with the violin playing just makes me feel so connected and drawn to that scene. Next thing you know I'm covered in goosebumps lol.
My favorite character has to be Adnan Khans character Viaan Raghuvanshi. There is just something about the way Adnan plays his character that leaves me feeling all amazed.
Sony needs to have more shows like Katha Ankahee. It's a show you definitely don't wanna miss out on!!

Such a beautiful pure heartening love story of Katha & Viyaan. So very rich in understanding of relationships with great depth of all characters.. except except except stupid, unrealistic and loud characters of Viyaan's mother and usase bhi badhkar most dramatic and irritating character of mausi. Super romantic and love filled serial totally ruined since last few episodes since that stupid and ugly mausi entered. Another stupid character is Reet. Mr Director, you are/were so different when you were getting us beautiful moments of Katha, Vivaan, Aarav and other super characters.. why Mr Director, suddenly you became Ekta Kapoor, or even worse than her.. Hope you get back to your good track.. please get rid off such negative and unreal ones.
My respect and review of the serial sliding down due to most irritating characters of MAUSI, RITI AND AYAAN's MOTHER. But one credit I must give to cast director for finding such evil looking actors for these evil characters. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP THE DIRECTOR TO GET RID OFF STUPID TEJI STUPIDEST MAYA MAUSI.
Writing this on 20th October 2023. From last 10-12 episodes, series is totally totally totally messed up. We were proudly feeling that there is one serial Katha that is mature and heart touching, but it has now become like any other hindi serial, melodramatic and typical. Mr Director, I hope you read this and take the serial back to its original track.
This serial has absolutely gone haywire. To much irritating level. Hope it comes back to its original track. All of a sudden, since last fee episodes, all characters are overacting and very dramatic, unlike its original track. Especially the new character pf doctor not only act so dramatically, but its characterisation is so ordinary. Mr Director, hope you are reading reviews and very soon you come back to your track.

This show talks about life, love, moving on, forgiveness, friendship, parenthood, respect in love.. How a heart can change for person you love.. How forgiveness and giving a chance can be beautiful, how accepting your deed makes you a better human.. The writing is way way way better than any show made in India till date.. Poetry that relates to the situation.. Aditi dev sharma is goddess of acting, she gives life to Katha and shades of Viaan beautifully performed by Adnan.. This show has some amazingly written women.. Katha Viaan will make you relive beautiful phases of love.. Above all the direction, lights, frames, screen are top notch compared to any other show you see in tv..

First of all. I didn't get the point Viaan "Raghuwanshi" {descendants of Raghu-(ancestors of lord Ram} & Singh of Lucknow suddenly change th religion when it comes in offering prayers... &.the only logical explanation in this can be that the media houses in and around Bullywood are like anything but not Hinduism...it's place is saved only for mockery....+ I love the way how this is just another sithousery in making by adding unnecessary stuffs in the story in case to drag the story like other Indian serials for a decade... As it is now boring and uninteresting..with same stuff going for a week

10 episodes in, and I knew this wasn't the typical saas bahu or another forced love-hate-story shoven into our screens by directors and story writers who are clearly stuck in the Neanderthal period.
The setup is different, the language spoken has a millennial touch (again something fresh in ITV) and the lead actors are well aware of their jobs and there is some actual work happening here!! I don't know how accurately they have represented everyday life of an architect but it is aesthetically pleasant and feels great to watch.
Coming to the story, I felt there were a few cracks: it's understandable that viaan's character was modified to suit the target audience and a brilliant job there but in an attempt to make the character near to perfect in the first few episodes, and suddenly the condition he keeps before katha was something that I felt was not justified well enough. Even if he did, he shouldn't have completed the condition per day. I really wish they could have built that up a little more. Of course they have redeemed the character in the future episodes.
I am still on 30th episode and I'm glad the way they have taken the story so far. I hope they don't spoil it by converting it into a series with infinite number of episodes thus losing its basic storyline.
Definitely a great watch.
Edit : as of 9th November, I stopped watching the show since a month now, unnecessary dragging, useless storylines, no longer different from usual ITV soaps. Congratulations to the makers for successfully ruining such a wonderful show.
Edit: the show has finally ended on 1st December, got lucky to catch the last 5 episodes and what a finale!! I'm as blown away as I am teary eyed for the ultimate climax it ended with. Definitely made up for all the non sense track that was going on for the past 2 months.
I can't get over the leads, brilliant work by both Adnan and Aditi. I really wish to see them more in a finite series.

Katha Ankahee... My God! I am a 18 year youth who not just is fond of seeing good cinema, but also a student of art and filmmaking, and so i always criticised some idiotic soap operas running endlessly on indian channels, until I stumbled upon this CRAZY serial! Man what a Incredible watch this was! The storyline might be inspired by the Turkish serial 1001 nights, but i tell you it's execution is absolutely Lovable! The way the serial builds up the characters, the storyline, and with how much honestly and without any false drama the shows carries itself, with the details, is what most of the indian shows lacks, but this show lefts no ground even for the modern youth like me to impress!!! Such a great and clever direction, powerpacked performances specially by the livable duo of Katha and Viaan, will surely hook you up and you will surely adore the lovable, soul touching soundtracks rightly placed in between the scenes... A must must watch , a journey you will definitely enjoy living, a show to be watched with everyone, and should be supported as we want more of these kinds... Kudos to the amazing crew who made this!
Watch it from the beginning. The first few episodes regarding Aarav's treatment are a bit difficult to watch. Stick to it. After that period, the storyline transitions beautifully and you would get hooked to it. The acting, dialogues, storytelling are on point. Must watch if you have time. The thing with TV is that there a lot more episodes but then the characters develop very organically and you get to see the layers, the details which you can't see on a 3 hour movie or a 20 episode web series.
So overall a superb show, highly recommended.

My goodness! The plot, the dialogues, the actors and their perfect emotions. Words aren't enough to express my love for this most unique and beautiful show. No unnecessary plot or dragging incidents, as well as the mature leads, just perfect!
Indian television really needs more Dramas like Katha Ankahee. I hope it run for long long time. The plot was so beautiful that for once I thought it can't be an Indian drama but I must say, the writers are genius! Each and every dialogue got it's soul, and it's connecting with the audience so well!
I am surprised, as well as happy to see such a wonderful drama after a very long time.
Katha Ankahee will be always remembered for it's beautiful plot and the lead actors. Will continue to repeat this drama maybe for my whole life.

This show is just perfect, definitely the best show I've ever watched on the Indian television so far. It's realistically beautiful. In love with the acting and looks of Adnan khan. This guy is so handsome and talented simply top-notch. The acting of Aditi Dev Sharma is also praiseworthy no doubt in that.
I came across a short reel of it on Instagram a few days back then thought of watching one or two episodes on YouTube, but the storyline is so beautiful that I binge-watched 60 episodes together in 3days, lmao. I am just hooked to this serial and especially the lead actor Adnan khan his aura is something else, man. A must-watch show for everyone!
I absolutely Love Katha Ankahee.

The show was going fine but the leap and reason for Katha-Viaan separation was unreal. I think life is not that dramatic. The post leap is even total non-sense on reasons to engage with a doctor. Total BS. Also someone so deeply in love can't move forward in the way it is projected. Story line now has more of ekta kapoor touch with negativity, unreal twists. Honestly my family and friends loved the way it was going. We used to look forward to watch it everyday. It is hard to believe writers did such a poor job to the story. It was a really good show going really well but now don't watch it anymore.

Katha Ankahee is one of the few decent shows that ITV has produced and it is totally different than what you get to see on a typical daily soap. The female lead is independent and a fierce lady who knows what's right and whats wrong and stands by it. She is an independent single mother who does everything she can to give her child the best. It's an absolute pleasure to watch the true example of what women empowerment is.
The male lead had an incredible journey, the redemption track, the desperation in his character to get the female lead to forgive him for what wrong he has done to her. The character development is amazing. His bond with the kid will make you fall in love with him.
The actors are so good. Aditi and Adnan as Katha and Viaan totally live up to their characters. The side characters are so beautiful, especially Viaan's best friend, you will fall in love with his character. The child actor is amazing, for the first time in ITV I saw a child behave as a child and not a 30 year old grown up and I was like breath of fresh air.
The writing, the direction, the background score everything is so good that you can't get enough of it.

Tomorrow Arav says that he feels happy with any other person. Will Katha marry her as well ?
Katha moved on so easily isn't it. So it should be possible she can marry 3 rfd person in next 7 months. And 4th person in next 7 months 🤣
You showed Katha as a sensible girl. And now what you are showing is she is manipulative and stupid.
I really Loved this series but now... A woman accepting every new man in her life ? Wth.
Makers of the show dont have any content It seems. Or probably they also think that Love ends when one gets married. And there is nothing to show after marriage. Amazing logic guys.

Katha ankahee
This massage is for all katha ankahee Team. I want to appreciate them all. It's a beautiful journey of Katha-Viaan. This magical love story of katha n viaan shows their ups n downs, how they help each other how they grow with each other. Relation between a son and his mom, strong bond between Viaan and Ehsan, Friends like Batman and Robin shows the real meaning and importance of every relation. This show has awesome music taste koi jaane na, khare raste (By Raghav Kaushik) and Me har pal yuhi are soo good. Katha is the only serial I m watching on tv. After a long time we are witnessing such an amazing and cute love story. Eagerly waiting for fresh episodes. It's better than other typical hindi dramas who may have heavy and designer outfits, typical love stories, typical dialougue, heavy makeup look but Katha ankahee has great story, great actors, beautiful conversation and slowly patiently exploring beautiful relations.

A concept we never saw in Indian television,
Something new & refreshing, the plot is bold but the way they handle the storyline is brilliant.
I'm addicted to Katha & Viaan's love story, it's so beautiful, & the actors are doing a great job, Brilliant performance, wonderful storyline & amazing direction.
Best show in recent times on ITV.
Hope it does great in future too & stay for long run. Can't get enough of Katha-Viaan....
The music department is also doing a fantastic job, Aditi & Adnan's chemistry is fire. I have become a fan of them, supporting cast is also great, god bless thie show.

Currently the best show on air in India
Fantastic storyline and cinematography is top notch
Aditi is a delight to watch.
Some of the characters are developed very well Show instantly connects with the audience and takes on the emotional roller coaster ride The character of main lead Katha is very well developed and layered and Aditi has done a fantastic job Ehsan contractor is also a very layered character and the actor Sameer, playing the character totally justify it.
Congratulations to Sony entertainment television for bringing such a delightful show we are looking forward for more Turkish remakes in India
The only fault that the show has is all the characters are shown praying to gods of other religions but not Hindu gods Despite of the fact that Raghuvanshis, Singhs and Grewals are Hindus they are never shown praying to Hindu gods or any mention to any Hindu Deities in the entire show which which has multiple scenes of religious setup, be it gurdwara aur dargah Makers should take a note of this.

Turkish shows I have watched so far are too dramatic in terms of negativity and character playouts and have this setting of business family / boss - employee relationship, so the moment I saw first episode and the background music it felt like Turkish. Later wikipedia confirmed it's a remake. But I believe this must have been tuned a lot for Indian sensibility given how dramatic Turkish series can get as they progress with insane negativity and sadness. This Indian version manages a fine balance of positivity all along and Aditi sharma with her incredible expressions make it a treat. .....great.
