This is a really solid movie in almost every aspect. The plot is interesting, the dialogue is snappy and clever, the action sequences are extremely well done. In fact the first action sequence in the movie is incredible to watch. Tense, surprising and easy to follow. It's also a beautifully shot film. Despite taking place almost entirely at night, it is never too dark.

Personality we have seen many films like this, most recently Black and Blue which I scored highly and again this, whilst in the same spirit as Black and Blue this film actually has a more realistic feel to it which I enjoyed, I especially loved the original music used, not what you expect.

This movie was pretty good overall. Intense with some solid, hard-hitting action scenes. The story was very predictable but still enjoyable. Start to finish suspense thriller. Suspense that takes you in a twisted situation. Decent enough with a few gripping action scenes to have kept my interest for a couple of hours but a bit thin on plot.

Worth watching but unlikely to stand out in the crime movie genre. The plus side to the story was that it was a simple, yet entertaining crime story, with an intriguing first set to get everyone hooked. There were a few scenes that were dialogue heavy, and it got a little dry at points.

Decent action sequences make this film entertaining but I still wanted more in the end. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I still had hope for a better outcome. Best thing by far is the script. Great dialog. Delivered by a great cast, with all doing their part. But it's all good, head to toe. Everything down to the sound design is notably good. As for the Movie itself, it was Good but nowhere near the Event I was Expecting and in the End, i was let down. Overall, There were some good elements to this but there were also quite a few things they could of done to make this a lot better than it is.

I liked this movie much more than it's screenplay deserved. It is not such a cliched story, where you see all the twists coming a mile away that it becomes a very enjoyable because everything else is just top notch. The acting and directing are what makes this movie such an enjoyable ride. Ashwin hassan continues to prove he is a force to be reckoned and one of the best of his generation and all the supporting cast is really good. The action sequences are all very well made and I was never bored. This is the classic case where the talent involved deserved a better screenplay. Chandan raj gives his best.

The central performance from Chandan Raj, Ashwin Hassan is delightful, the supporting roles just as good and the messages and meanings as intense as any, from a film that asks you to consider the way you perceive and see the world, and whether there might be anything you can do to make it better for those around you. Chandan and Ashwin were the movie highlights, along with plot, direction and innocence of script. My frnds enjoyed thoroughly and it's a total entertainer. Movie is emotional and lively at the end but contains a feel good factor from start to end. Delightfull . Delightfull, Delightfull.

Cinematography and it's powerful visuals is the another strong aspect and also the movie is shot in some of the very beautiful locations and is been captured nicely. This witty action movie instills all sorts of emotions in you. It includes light suspence which is always showcased in the right time and place; however, it is also pretty emotional in some parts. The plot did lose me for a minute somewhere in the middle with loyalties changing but it was explained soon after. Overall in my opinion this is the best movie of the year and a must watch. Sometimes, I just want a movie that will make me smile. It's such a simple wish that often goes unfulfilled when watching movies. But not this time. During this movie, I couldn't stop smiling. I smiled so much that it made my mouth sore. Whilst some of it is pretty simple the lead performance is great and it's pacing is pretty much perfect. Much better than average if unfortunately not spectacular. Locations are fine. Bgm is good. Fights are awesome.

Well, Ashwin hassan makes it much better than that! He really was one heck of an actor! And he make his character, Chandan raj, really smoke on the screen! I'd have loved to see a sequel with this character. The directing was on point, the casting great, and the run-time and pacing perfect. After long time, a peaceful and much thrilled movie.. Story, Screenplay and dialogues and technical team gave 100%. Very fresh story and interesting and composing scenes are soo good... All castings are acted soo well..Backing up the lead performance are fantastic feats from the entire supporting cast.......

The Background Score gave very much life to the characters and the film. Many would have come for chandan but they will definitely fall for ashwin. Man he stole the show. Must watch. Infact it could be watched several times. Beautiful experience for a cinema lover. Guys don't miss it in theatres.

Finally, I have to say that "Thugs of ramaghada" is a nice and interesting action movie consisted of some unpredictable plot twists so, I highly recommend everyone to watch it because I am sure you will enjoy it. KGF, Kantara, Vedha If you like any of those movies, you're definitely in the right place. Unfortunately it's missing something which is rather elusive...The camera barely even brings him into focus, you've got a cast who all performed well but none really stood out. Great cast not boring and convincing performances, impressive camera work outside the some scene with the white gloves.

Overall this was a pretty good action thriller. While the storyline was a bit simplistic and commercial aspects, the execution was top notch. Ashwin hassan played the part of hardened cop really well, and the supporting characters held their own. The storyline had good flow and kept up a good pace throughout. Enjoyable and worth the time to watch. Anyway. It's a good popcorn eating action movie. Mahalakshmi annapoorna and sharmila is also great. Although the start of the crime takes place within a fair amount of time, followed up by awesome fight sequences and car chases, the first 15 minutes definitely take time to introduce us to the story.

This is a male centric movie with a lot of action which will definitely give the goosebumps to the audience who enjoy this genre.

Script style and dialogue delivery actually attracts the audience. The acting done by the actors is commendable and Ashwin Hassan has also done some remarkable performance which I think deserves more recognition. This movie deserves Good rating rating. It is a very beautiful movie. Not able to understand why it is rated so low. I saw it on theatr and I was surprised with the quality of this movie. Movie has Action thriller, it has emotions and was able to give the message to the audience. Highly recommended movie. It is even better than releases. I recommend all to watch, this movie is far better than it is what rated. All scenes they are done well . Actions are good and timings of the songs is perfect. You will not see songs coming haywire just for the sake of putting some song into the scene but really meaningful. Theatre watch.

Movie showing events happeening Aravind life are told well. And Chandan Raj has played the role with sincerity. The songs and background music are awesome. You will feel like you are wonderful journey during the movie. The movie is full of heart. Excellent performances by all the cast especially Chandan Raj. It took long time to make this movie and it was worth it. I waited so long for this movie and finally i got the chance to watch it on the big screen. And cinematography is really amazing. The idea of the movie was fantastic, screenplay and direction let down the movie so much. The best part of Thugs of Ramaghada is how it manages to follow the beats of a typical action thriller, while at the same time not being a typical action thriller.

All in All - Thugs of Ramaghada is an absolute action ride at the cinemas. A thoroughly engaging nontypical crime thriller. It will give you the engaging, the kicks, the rush and the high. Exactly what a good movie is supposed to do. All actors did their part well. Especially Chandan Raj. His presence elevates the movie and gives it the credibility that it needs, which it uses fully.

But to be a real good movie, and by that I mean one I would watch again, the story can't be so predictable you can see it coming from miles away. It's watchable on the first viewing,Actually, despite having a strong cast, the film never really goes anywhere and just provides a somewhat decent endeavor, but nothing grand nor ingeniously made to similar projects out there. It's the sort of story you can see coming from a mile away, but it is fast paced and pretty relentless in the telling of it, making it entertaining and very watchable. Lots of violence and chase scenes, action fans will appreciate it. Loved the time limit placed on the characters, Ashwin and Chandan is great.

All actors performed nicely, Chandan raj and Ashwin Hassan are one of the best. Movie is Fantastic. I don't want to reveal much, but you need to watch this to make your own judgement. You're either gonna think there's a lot going on in the movie and dislike it, OR you're going be very pleasantly surprised with the message. You might have your own reservations on the HOW, but will welcome the WHAT that the movie is trying to convey.

The story is great and never confusing and the cinematatography is so beautiful and rich in colours and the ending is thriling and suspensfull. I havent seen any other kannada films this year but this film certainly makes me want to see more of then. I can talk about this movie all day. I love action movies and this is easily one of the best ones I've seen this year. Apart from entertainment, it also provides lessons on how to make action movies, efficiently. One thing to talk about is the plot. It is superficially heavy this time, in fact the heaviest out of all the series. Chandan and ashwin great cast.

This storyline is nice, so is the idea. Chandan Raj did his role well. Very Impressive in his very first movie. Overall a great package that us as an audience would love to watch.

I would really suggest you to just pull any of your loved one and go watch this movie and you will be more than pleased after watching it. Entertainment Guaranteed. The chemistry between the lead pair is good nothing over the top. Aravind character is extremely sweet and lovable.

Well generally I don't go to cinema to watch kannada movie but I don't know why I really wanted to watch this one...

And do stay till the credits roll. You've something more to enjoy.

Whenever an action movie is made in India, I think of a couple of check boxes for it to be a good movie :

An interesting premise -Charismatic Lead -Compelling antagonist -Solid Music -Killer BGM -Witty Dialogues -Good Action Sequences -Third Act which isn't dragged out -An engaging screenplay Thugs of Ramaghada has it all.

It's very very rare for a Kannada Action movie which is set abroad, to check all the boxes and yet end up being a fun watch.

Chandan Raj is excellent as the leading man as he charms his way through the action and kick ass dialogues. Ashwin Hassan is fantastic as the Co-Actor, and their chemistry basically seals the deal for this movie.

A Kannada movie which has a good plot, better direction, acting with some kickass action and some banging music.

Do watch it.
