Andrey wakes up in bed with a girl he met on Tinder. The relationship is unlikely to be long-lasting. Young people quickly say goodbye at Andrey's house. The girl leaves in a taxi, Andrey goes to the office in the center. He works as a credit manager, and also conducts not entirely honest transactions, the bosses are in the share. Today is October 23, Andrey turned 35. Colleagues and friends congratulate him, and his mother is waiting for a visit in the evening. The guy even suspects that he was killed and now for some reason he lives his life backwards. No drugs were found in Andrey's blood, no injuries were found in him. The doctor believes that the young man's future was just a dream. Because of the trip to the doctor, Andrey did not attend an important meeting with the boss and did not hand over the report to him. The subordinate quarrels with the boss and resigns. Andrey decides to actively spend the evening with friends. At night, the guy discovers that everyone has disappeared somewhere, the previous day has come. There can be no doubt anymore. Andrey sees a girl in a cafe in the afternoon who seems familiar to him. But from where?

Credit manager Andrey is dating a girl Nadya. Nadya, like Andrey, lives in the past, her days flow not forward, but backward. The guy read in the book of the Strugatsky brothers that such a phenomenon is called contramotion. Nadya knows no more than Andrey, only that they do not live in the usual course of time. A young man finds out that his ex Katya is raising a son with a new boyfriend. Andrey is sure that this is his child, but he sees that Katya is happy and does not really want to interfere in her life. Together with Nadya, the credit manager is trying to figure out why he was in this position at all. The girl seems to have already got used to the strange flow of time. Andrey admits to Nadya that together with his friend Sergey, he turned illegal schemes, writing out loans to deceased people. They were covered by the head of the bank's security Aleksey Neverov, who had disappeared somewhere. Andrey is afraid that something has happened to him.

Andrey and Nadya spend the evening by the campfire on the riverbank, listening to music and thinking about further actions. The girl, living through the past, tries to save as many people as possible. She understands that by changing the past, a new future is obtained. Andrey wants to exhale a little and take a break. The guys spend the night in a cozy country cottage, but there was no intimacy between them. Andrey and Nadya are waiting for Aleksey Neverov to prevent his murder, which should take place in the evening. Andrey meets him on the race track and warns him about the impending danger, but Neverov believes that this is either a stupid prank, or a threat. Andrey is still trying to help a friend. He finds and kidnaps the alleged killer. But Andrey is worried that today he is saving Neverov, but he does not know what will happen tomorrow and will never know. The killer manages to escape, Nadya and Andrey expect to stop him anyway.

For Andrey, time continues to go backwards. The young man seems to have completely ceased to understand how to get out of the reverse flow of time. And Andrey also realized his own impunity: no matter what he does, the next day, which will be yesterday for him, nothing will happen to him. The guy drinks a lot, rides expensive cars and hangs out with half-naked girls. No tomorrow. But in fact, of course, Andrey suppresses fear, because he does not know what to do next. He is looking for Nadya and accidentally finds her on the bus. At night, Andrey comes to his colleague Marina and says a lot of unnecessary things. The girl goes to the guy's mom, trying to enlist support. But Mom doesn't know how to help here. Andrey meets another person who lives from today to the past. A new acquaintance says that a client to whom Andrey did not approve a loan came to the office with a shotgun on October 25. Sergey begins to blackmail and resolutely demand money from a criminal authority. And Andrey can't get in touch with Nadya again.

She had just flown in from Paris, so his only chance to talk to her was today. He wants Nadya to go with him, and the girl by any means wants to prevent a terrible fire that will happen in the MONISH club.
